these guys are trying to make the best of a shit ass situation. and just because some of the soldiers dont fight, doesnt mean their not playing their part in the war. war is a lot more then fighting. there's negotiating, patroling, re-building, aiding others. a whole list that has nothing to do with actual fighting. and yes, i agree that you get fucked sometimes when you join, but thats not the economy, thats the military's doing.
