@nickelfer They are pretty quick but need a little uncorking. A basic intake mod and exaust really make these come alive. Reverse is a great feature and was the seller for me.

@boochiefs5 Not if you trail ride with rocks, mud and ruts. There are better options for that but if you are using it on smooth trails or mx then its ok

@ilovehonda10 If your gonna be riding anything besides on a track or smooth trails then i would not get a 450. You would have much more fun on a raptor/kfx700/honda 700xx quad. They are made for trail riding but are just as fast. More ground clearance, geared better for trails and you can lug the engine down unlike the high strung 450's. I have had banshee's and 250r's and after having the kfx700 I'll never have a trail quad that's standard again

@mossow71 The 450R is a good track quad or something on smooth trails. I ride alot of hills, rocks and rutted out trails. Who cares about going fast...its all about ground clearance and handling the terrain. The kfx700 is way more fun on the trails then the 450 could ever think about being and its "faster" on the rocky terrain. it may not beat a 450 in a drag race but the 450 is not gonna catch it till the end of 3rd gear. Drag racing quads is gay anyways!

@Pr3da1or666 I love my KFX 700. If i wanted to continue to ride a clutched bike I would have kept the 450. But on the trails and arie i like to ride the KFX700 is KING. Not shifting on the trails is the best.

@DickWheels i dont know i kind like shifting going fown and up hills autos feel like they dont shift fast enough for me car truck quad.sweet looking bike i got the new 09 trx400x (ex?) but i love kaws ive always been strictly honda cause i baught a yamaha because it was blue and my dad got a klx300r it was like brand new so i rode it did a scramble with it and love it very reliable the thing goes threw the plugs like a 2-stroke though there really good bike but the kfx400 i think is ugly

@paneksshops I don't care. I trail ride in the Berkshire mountains. Lots of Hills and Rocks. I enjoy the KFX700 much more then all those clutched bikes where i ride. It still does 70 like all the other bikes it just gets there 2 seconds slower. I'm not racing so I don't care.

@21Rolle21 it is very good on the track, super stable, handles corners like nothing, and takes the landing pretty well, just turn the compression adjusters a few clicks to the right on some bigger jumps. very good quad though, check out my vids man, i have a KFX450R im building for racing.

Yea its pretty big and I have my eye on the bill ballance slip on right now but until then I think i'm just gonna try taking the baffle out and see how it sounds. The bike is definately way to quiet.

yea when I bought it, it was in pieces! Once It was back together and finally running correctly it wasnt really any more problem-matic then any other quad. If you take care of it and dont beat the piss outta it, it will last and treat you right!

just for my 2 cents i have a raptor 700 and it is a very good fast and reliable bike. the kfx is also nice too. where do you ride the new yfz is more track racing..700 track/trail same as kfx.....banshee....old bike with problems amazing when tuned right but thats hard.

It's gonna be a close battle between all the 450's and in the end the mods will decide what wins. I like the KFX because it has reverse and electric start. I wouldn't rule out the 700 raptor either.

As for the banshee if you don't need reverse, and the trails aren't to tight then it would work but its gonna cost ya a little bit to set it up well for it. just remember the new stuff works pretty good outta the box

The KFX more because i sold the banshee to get the KFX. IDK why but I wanted something new! The KFX is a nice quad but it's no banshee and could never be one! I'll be on the hunt again for another banshee soon
