There is another coaster track in the mountains of western Mass.,called Jiminy Peak.One can view it here on the side of this page ( related videos ).

i live in glenwood springs and it's kind of cool, because this is the ONLY one of these "tracked sleds" in north america.

There are others in the USA.There is one in the mountains of Maryland and a few more places.Most of the track ones are in Europe and a few are here on You Tube from Europe.Type in coaster slide in Imst,Austria,its a six minute or so ride.

There is one in Park City,Utah.There is a one single track one in Meiders,Austria.There was a single track on in Portage,Wisc but only for a short time in the 1970's.Go to Y T and type in slide in Portage,Wisc.

Ok, found it,the coaster ride is at Wisp Mountain ski resort at Deep Creek Lake in Maryland.Type in at YT,alpine coasters /slides in Maryland.

ha ha! Good Question. You can't actually. The cart is attached to the track. No matter how fast you go, the cart cannot separate. It's a good time. I've been on it.
