You can fuel up your Natural Gas Car in your own garage if you have Natural Gas to your house... THis is a no brainer... 200 miles a day to drive and Duel Fuel means if you run out you can use Gasoline.

If the Picken's plan is good and it helps Americans get off BIG OIL, stops sending 1 Billion PLUS a month to the MIDDLE EAST, then so freaking what about donating to a political cause?

Would you stop supporting Al Gore just because he is a Democrat and supports Obama? Your Rose colored glasses need to be removed. If you feel so much, then say goodby and take your political filter with you. Pickens met with both Presidential candidates.

We need someone who's been in the energy business to run with this. So what if his efforts make a PROFIT. One should make profits off hard work, this isn't a communist state. Most good business are credit worthy and DO make profits, that's why they perform well. If Mr. Pickens can do this with our help, it WILL HELP ALL AMERICANS, and yes, some shareholders and himself. This is so much better than sending billions to the likes of Chavez and Putin.

I'm all for bipartisanship and a common cause. I was pointing out that this idea of his is great, but he was among the worst partisan lie peddlers 4 years ago.

Ending dependence on foreign oil is the right thing to do regardless of the profit to be made from the wind etc. My rose colored glasses tell me Pickens is an opportunist.

LOL .. Iran has the second biggest natural gas reserve of the world (I think it is estimated to be over 150 times more than all the proven gas reserves in the North America) and Iran has to inject $40 worth of gas into the oil fields to get one barrel of oil out, so it is cheaper for them to use gas instead of oil; and gas doesn't need expensive refineries either.

Speaking of which..Iran is also pushing ahead with Wind Power. It makes the most wind turbines in the region and is part of the Global Wind Energy Council.

I think at any rate, this can be used as a motivational factor to better the United States. :)

Look up the amount of Wind companies in China (about 300) verses the United States (about 30).

We have a long way to go and we could benefit for Wind the most. Need to do this now.

we need to get more people to subscribe to mr pickens, everyone who reads this, post a bulletin to subscribe to mr pickens and sign up on his pickensplan website. also tell everyone you know to, print out business cards/bulletins etc and hand them out and post them at laundry mats etc.
