Palm Pixi buyers- Beware!! This phone fades when you are in a warm environment. I am in Tucson, AZ and as soon as it hits 85-90 degrees the screen goes blank/black. The phone looks like it is off. The refrigerator cures it faster. Major issue here that needs immediate attention.

I have the Blackberry Tour from Sprint and i hate it because it's too techinical for me. I saw my Bro has the Palm pixi and I don't know if i should switch to it or get the HTC HERo or samsung moment which one is good and what is great about each phone. 2 Q I have is what do you mean the Palm doesn't have wifi ?

Get the pixi or the pre. I have the Moment, and used to have a Blackberry. The Android OS that runs on the Hero and Moment is MORE technical than Blackberry OS, not less. The Palm WebOS is much more user friendly for non-technical users. Android makes for a great geek OS, though.

also, AT&T just sucks, so that in addition to my hatred for anything apple just adds to my love of this phone and the pre... I've owned 2 ipods, and a Mac desktop- the desktop blew up and fried itself, and the ipods have all died (headphone jack dies, battery dies, then the harddrive goes) I've had a gateway desktop running xp made in 98.. and i rarely shut it off. It's outlasted all of my apple products combined... I have lost all faith in apple; the iPhone is another piece of crap they made

Well, for everyone out there that hates the iphone, and At&t, like myself, the pre and pixi look great. I would get the Droid, but the pre and pixi "cards" are what hooked me- it's s true smartphone with mulitasking. Although the pixi is a downgrade from the pre, I still dont know which to get- i love the candy bar style of the pixi, but wish it had the guts from the pre... hopefully when verizon gets WebOs, they put the pre inside the pixi!!!
