@katrinjerek : In "Free Play" mode (not game mode as shown in the video), the light/color sensor is used for the "whammy bar". See the web link in the video description for more info.

@queenandking10: There is no difficulty setting, you just get whatever notes you record using the recording program. You can make it as hard or easy as you want when you record it.

@gunmaster730 : See the instructions on the web site. It is not a normal .rbt program that you open with the NXT software, it is a pre-compiled .rxe file that you download. Instructions are on the site.

@jeromsavestheworld: Sure, the sound sensor is just a dummy to take up space in the 1.0 version, so if you have the 1.0 kit but not the sound sensor, just replace it wih a 3-hole beam or something.

i cant download the simple song because when i press (All Sample Songs in a zip file) it said To open this file, Windows needs to know what program you want to use open it. Windows can go online to look it up automatically, or you can manually select from a list of programs that are installed on you computer.

And i Dont know what thats means so can you help me.

@64546456465465 If your computer can't read zip files, you can download the song1...song7 files each individually (see links just below the All Sample Songs link), save them to your PC, then download them to the NXT as explained in the instructions.

No, the Game Mode progams were done in NXC. The "Free Play" mode programs (not shown in this video, see web site) are in NXT-G though.

i thought you only made programs for robots that can be made with only one nxt kit, this one has 2 touch sensors, unless you are using 2.0

The NXT 1.0 instructions show variations for either 1 or 2 touch sensors. 2 sensors is not required.  Only one kit is needed, either 1.0 or 2.0.

You can record up to 1000 notes per song. The music is not being recorded, just the note positions and timings.
