  • The world is definitely going to end. You can tell because the biggest concern on everyone's mind is whether or not it is OK to eat something that's edible. We've finally given in to madness.

  • @FallenPrey33 my bad, "that's been edible (for years)". Plus, it's kind of stupid for the government to say "opps sorry we've been feeding your family poison since like forever" and yes the government might as well talk like that.

  • @FallenPrey33 btw anybody else like that little cow figurine that holds a little sign that reads "eat more chicken" lol

  • food industry interests now dominate the actions by U.S. government regulators. The USDA, for example, tried to ban sodium nitrite in the late 1970's but was overridden by the meat industry. It insisted the chemical was safe and accused the USDA of trying to "ban bacon." Today, the corps that dominate American food and agricultural interests hold BIG influence over the FDA and USDA. you are offered no real protection from dangerous chemicals intentionally added to foods, medicines, care products

  • A 2005 University of Hawaii study found that processed meats increase the risk of pancreatic cancer by 67 percent. Another study revealed that every 50 grams of processed meat consumed daily increases the risk of colorectal cancer by 50 percent. These are alarming numbers. Note that these cancer risks do not come from eating fresh, non-processed meats. They only appear in people who regularly consume processed meat products containing sodium nitrite

  • What they don't consider is the meat is from GRAIN (nutrient deficient, high in inflammation inducing omega 6) fed cows, and full of STEROIDS and HORMONES. But they are right about not eating processed meat.

  • Who in the hell eats our fellow brothers (cows, sheeps, birds, chickens, etc, etc) here on earth anyway?

  • Yes, processed meat is crap and should be avoided, but how did red meat get included here? What study is this taken from because I would like to take a look at it myself. Or maybe I should just take their word for it like the other sheaple; NOT!

  • Go vegan go humane go healthy (mentaly & physicaly)

  • i almost threw up when i saw the little boy take that first half ish bite of that big bloody meat ball D:

    -proud vegetarian-

  • The sun causes cancer too, so stay indoors during the day. While we're at it, car accidents are on of the leading causes of death and they usually happen at night, so stay indoor during the night too.

  • @Tommy9834 The leading causes of death are from red meat, not car accidents.

  • Ok. LOL! They've got a clothes washer in their kitchen. That's just too weird...It's common in Europe, but it seems strange to those of us that are further west. We wouldn't want to be washing little Billy's diapers where we cook our spaghetti. Ewww

  • Inuit people eat ONLY meat.

They do not get cancer. (They also do not become diabetic and obese like the rest of us.)

    Coincidence? I think not.

  • i likes the black meat:DD

  • these studies were done on poor quality meat. the end

  • @MrBabo91 So. What is good quality/bad quality meat? This is a proven fact.

  • @supernatural119

if your going to fry meat in vegetable oil then its bad quality

if you are going to eat meat that is laden with salt and preservatives then its bad quality

if you are going to inject your meat with growth hormone then its bad quality

if you are going to eat meat from an animal that was kept indoors all day then its bad quality

if its a proven fact that red meat causes cancer then why do populations who have eaten red meat for thousands of years have very low cancer rates ?

  • @MrBabo91 Because their meats were not and possibly are not biotically enhanced. 95% of the meat you get in stores is flavored. From what I hear, meat that's cooked but not seasoned tastes bland. In that case, what's the difference between tofu and red meat? Red meat gives you cancer, that's what.

  • @supernatural119

poor quality meat leads to cancer. I won't argue with that. Meat thats slow cooked at a low temperature to keep the nutrition intact tastes great.

    plus, tofu is absolute garbage.

  • @MrBabo91 A lot of junk food tastes great. But the truth is if you eat a lot of red meat, you're in risk of a whole parade of medical problems, including strokes, heart attacks, cancer... Have your ever had tofu that was properly seasoned or fried? It really isn't that bad.

  • @supernatural119

If red meat causes all these problems how come we can finds populations who base their diet on red meat that have no heart disease, no cancer etc

  • @MrBabo91 They don't eat meat everyday like we do.

  • @supernatural119

Yes they do. especially poplulations in colder climates becuase all the can find is animals to eat, very little plant life. I would say that most people don't eat meat everyday anyway and if they do it would be very poor quality. Pasta, bread, cookies, cake, skimmed milk, cereal, chips, processed salt, vegetables oils. Those are the things that we eat everyday.

  • @supernatural119

Well if eating meat everyday is a possible correlation to heart disease or cancer, then don't eat meat every day - limit it to fewer times a week. If you indulge in ANYTHING excessively, of course there's going to be consequences. True discipline is in moderation, dude. Plus not everyone has the luxury of a spoiled, privelaged, self-serving lifestyle to cut out meat out of their diet entirely - nor would it be wise, anyway.

  • @MrBabo91 I think it depends on how the meat the population eats itsraised, here in america the majority of red meat comes from factory farming, the animals that go thru the factory farming process are sick themselves so eating them is going to lead to sickness in people as well...

  • eat right, excercise, die any way

  • what doesnt cause cancer??

  • @KripDrip fresh fruits and vegetables grown organically :)

  • @KripDrip Fruits & Vegetables.. Look up any fruit or vegetable and see if it leads to cancer. - none do :)

  • Its American mass production meat- of course its dangerous with all the chemicals they raise the cows with. i dare you retards to research meat of cows raised in an ecologically clean environment rising up with no food additives.I grew up in such a place and about a half of the people lived pass the age of 100 although they ate lots of meat. the others all made it past 80. I dare the news to say the truth- "the big companies fuked up the ecology in most of the world increasing cancer rate"

  • There are FREE recipes at NoRedMeatRecipes

  • STUPID VEGITARIANS I WILL EAT MEAT, MY CHILDRENS WILL EAT MEAT

MY GRANDCHILDREN WILL EAT MEAT ALL OF HUMANITY WILL EAT MEAT

WHEATER YOU ARE RELIGIOUS OR ATHIEST YOU ALL KNOW WINCE THE DAWN OF HUMANS WE ATE MEAT SO EAT IT

  • @Liuyifeng19

enjoy poisoning yourself.. you value your taste buds over your health.

  • @Liuyifeng19--BE IGNORANT,EAT MEAT SMOKE CIGARETTES AND BE IN DENIAL

AS MUCH AS YOU WANT BUT DONT COMPLAIN WHEN CANCER STRIKES!

HUMANS HAVE BEEN GETTING CANCER SINCE THE DAWNN OF HUMANITY!

  • @kellykaos666 : Correction: Cancer was rare until the mid 20th century. Then it and other diseases of civilization really took off from there. People need to cut back on meat and include more plants in their diet.

  • @kellykaos666 i thumbed up but i smoke and eat meat and i will complain when i get cancer XD

  • @Liuyifeng19 People LIKE YOU often say that humans have always eaten animals, as if this is a justification for continuing the practice. According to this logic, we should not try to prevent people from murdering other people, since this has also been done since the earliest of times. But i guess that for the sake of little mouthful of meat you would endanger the health of your children, since you don't seem to care about yours, why would you care about theirs? Enjoy your poison.

  • epic!

  • this is fake i eat meat every day and i am healthy

  • @haramacad It's not if you think you're healthy or not. Studies have shown on more than 500,000 people tested, that eating one serving of RED meat every day can increase your risk of DYING by bowel cancer (not just getting cancer) by up to 50%. They are just saying that we don't have to depend on red meat for protein and iron. We can get it from white meats, nuts and dark green leafy vegeatbles.

  • Organic meat is so useful....please look at the atkins diet

  • Man made foods.... processed bacon with nitrates and processed sausage but what evidence has been shown that red meat in causing cancer? The American indians seems to do well on it. We are expected to live like peasants, someone wants us eating the grains, whilst the rich eat the game and the good foods, the meats, organic and fresh vegetables and herbs.

  • what is wrong with red meat?

  • Red meat is disgusting. I've snubbed it ever since I started eatting solid foods.

  • cut down on red meat yes bacon definitely eat more chicken then get salmonella you cannot win

  • @RICHARDTOMLEY10WHARF--- DONT EAT ANY DEAD ANIMALS AND YOU CAN WIN! YOU WOULDNT EAT A RAT WHICH IS SIMILAR TO CHICKEN?

  • @kellykaos666 well ive got cancer now its advanced cancer but im happy ,im winning so far ,you are right meat consumption has probable risk with cancer especially processed meat ,ham cured meats etc,in my job as a butcher with sheep i come across abscesses and tomours all the time ,i would not consume sheep ie kebabs but ive cut down on proceesed meat now

  • @RICHARDTOMLEY10WHARF --WELL I HAD CANCER AS A CHILD AND HAD WEEKS TO LIVE ,AND STOPPED EATING CRAP(MEAT) AND REPLACED IT WITH REAL FOOD (MORE VEGES) AS WELL AS MENTAL ATTITUDE AND HERE I AM 29 YEARS LATER! EAT REAL FOOD AND BE STRONG! ..BEANS SPINACHE BERRIES AND OTHER ANTIOXIDANTS ETC! MEAT IS NOT FOR HUMAN CONSUMPTION!

  • @RICHARDTOMLEY10WHARF --GET WELL!

  • @kellykaos666 thank you ,sorry to hear about ur cancer ,i w2ould guess u were extremely lucky 30 years ago ,mine is not a bad cancer really its testicular seminoma st 3, spread to my stomach 2 tumours and lungs so far chemo has worked i think ,i try to eat healthy but my concentration and organisation skills are destroyed by chemo ,oranges and tomatoes i seem to eat a lot

  • carbon monoxide meat

  • I hope those people die from meat related diseases

  • i kinda wish the government would ban foods that are bad for you or at least make it easier to get healthy food.

  • MEAT IS MURDER.......tasty, tasty murder!!!! i gonna have a steak!!

  • look i also want organic foods but seriously what product including vaccines are not carcinogenic! they want most of you dead (Georgian guidestones) gmo foods will kill 100% of the human race in 3 generations! that's why they push crap on the consumers, they are guia worshiping nut's. they hate humanity, i for one love people.

  • @esther19741974 They don't hate it. They want to make people sick so they start buying medicine. Which means more money. Unless you're educated about health, it's very hard to get out of this vicious circle.

  • dont you just love how the vegans are entitled to their own facts. if our ancestors hadnt eaten meat we'd still be living in the trees, swinging from branches with our kids on our back. vegans eat more carcinagens in their veggies than the meat eaters do in a years worth of red meat. but hey its your body if you want to eat wegies and die from some strange blood disease. its your body. ill stick to my daily dose of sirloin

  • Did anyone forget that meat and eggs and sauasage are sources of proteine! And that we need proteine to survive? I'll lay odds that more vegatarians die of some form of cancer than the meat eaters. Show me a vegan that looks healthy? They all look like there going to die! Skinny. Anemic. Oh and FYI Thin people die at an earlier age than fat people

  • @PAM2167 You are totally buying into some myth, take a look at the vegan body builders, there are a ton of them on youtube. If you do the research you'll find that meat eaters are the ones who will die earlier on average across the board.

  • @PAM2167 did you know we can make food out of marijuana seeds and the food has the highest amount of protein found in nature.

  • Breast cancer risk increased by 56% for each additional 100 g/day meat

    consumption. Nutr Cancer. 2008 Mar-Apr;60(2):177-87.

Databases are full of such results but what are the risks for food? Who knows how much meat can risk breast cancer w/full life expectancy or colon, lung cancer, etc? If willing to risk cancer, what meat dosage doesn't risk Alzheimer's, diabetes, diverticulitis, etc? Food prevents not causes disease.

Strawberry extracts decreased growth of breast cancer cells by 77% -USDA

  • Gotta love vegans and there "facts" stick to being weak and pale and leave us meat eaters alone.

  • You're not a victim of anyone but yourself.

  • It does NOT lead to cancer, it CAN increase your RISK for cancer.

BTW, the number one risk factor for colorectal cancer is lack of fiber. This idiotic newscast doesn't even mention it.

  • And how much fiber does meat have??

"red and processed meat, has been associated with an increased risk of common cancers such as breast, colorectum, and prostate in many epidemiological studies. Heterocyclic amines (HCAs) are a group of mutagenic compounds found in cooked meats, particularly well-done meats. HCAs are some of most potent mutagens detected using the Ames/salmonella tests and have been clearly shown to induce tumors in experimental animal models. Nutr Cancer. 2009;61(4):437-46.

  • Back in a days, lion food had been green grass, before evil cause to eat red meat !!!

  • There are ten medical reasons why you can get colon cancer and only one is directly related to eating a lot of red meat, not white meat or fish by the way.The other 9 reasons are mostly related to a poor livestyle, age, gender, genetics. Why do you people always chose to talk about one?

  • "Heterocyclic aromatic amines (HAAs) formed in meat during high-temperature cooking have been associated with risk of colorectal and breast cancer. Incidence of these cancers is increasing in Singapore, a country with 77% ethnic Chinese. Seven specific meat-cooking method combinations contributed 90.1% of this intake, namely, pan-fried fish, pork, and chicken, deep-fried chicken, etc.

Meat is meat.. There is little difference with the effects it has on human digestion.

  • the greatest risk of cancer is being a fat ass regardless of red meat or not

  • being a vegetarian leads to gayness and faginess and the unability to stop yourself making pro vegan videos

  • lol they talk funny!

  • people eating pigs look like pigs

  • If this is true than I will have my cancer medium rare with a loaded baked P!

  • foolish you.

  • Giving up smoking , meat , alcohol , sweets -and next week I'm giving up sex too .

    Give me a break.

Instead of studying for years what I eat , they should use my tax money to find a cure for cancer to make our lives worth living again.

  • Or you could care about your health. That sounds like a far better idea.

  • People need to get educated here. Commercialized meat comes from sick animals...grass fed beef is fine for you with benefits. Duh, right? Surprisingly not. You ever see a Lion with heart disease or colon cancer even though it's eating red meat? No, because it's all organic. Maybe cooking it isn't that good for you though, despite whether it was grass fed or commercially raised.

  • One thing, a lion is a carnivore. It's body is designed for it. If it ate an all vegetable diet, it would probably get sick. This doesn't mean humans get sick from eating vegetables, though.

  • this video is junk science

  • How so? Just because you don't want to believe it? I remember hearing people like you when they started saying tobacco is bad for us.

  • tobacco really isnt that bad neither, it sure is healthier than fascism which has killed billions.

and meat does not cause cancer

  • Tobacco isn't bad? Have you had your eyes and ears closed for 30 years?

Meat doesn't cause cancer? Just look for scientific studies on the internet for it. You'll find heaps of them. Actually, scientists are only finding more and more cancers linked to meat consumption.

  • well it isnt, if tobacco is soo awful why doesent everyone who smokes it get cancer?

if meat causes cancer, then so does breathing, and well were at it, just living causes cancer

  • All or nothing hey? Something can only be good for you, or bad for you in your opinion? Good luck with your life.

  • oh come on, meat doesent cause cancer, thats pseudoscience

  • these crazy weirdo who think meat doesn't cause cancer probably meat lobby agent and has no conscience

  • i will belive u, over the scientific evidence thank you!

  • what scientific evidence? more like biased garbage

  • the evidence tht meat cuases collin cancer isnt biase, the doctors n scientist tht discovered tht werent nesseserily vegetarians, they were just doin there job researching cancer n linked the rottin of meat in us to cancer

  • sure buddy, how bad is meat really if nearly every old person has eaten eat regularly

  • well its not as if u eat meat n u die! but it does higher the risks of cancer, vegetarians live longer then meat eaters, statistics cant be biased

  • junk science

  • I love how they look at it like every person who eats meat is a fat overweight slob who eats a sloppy steak every night. Give me a break. Eating too many vegtables is extremely dangerous. Anything in excess is bad for you. Eating a balanced diet with lean cuts of meat is perfectly ok.

  • true

  • 'Anything in excess is bad for you'

ALL meat is biochemically incompatible for humans. Uric acid produced from consuming meat causes degenerative diseases as humans dont' have the uricase enzyme gene to digest it like real meat eaters. Also meat has too much protein to digest well, etc.

What is the safe limit of eating blueberries now?

  • To bad those Inuits prove you wrong.

  • @celt130 While Inuit men can expect to live 62.6 years, the figure for all Canadian men is 77.0. Life expectancy of Inuit women is 71.1 compared to 82.2 years for all Canadian women.

  • @celt130 All cultures experienced 'decrease in traditional food consumption' yet Inuit life expectancies remain low while other culture's life expectancy increased over time.

Candy is not healthy for any culture, not just the Inuit. But Inuit still consume the most meat and have one of the lowest life expectancies, they have limited themselves to health and life expectancies that are relatively poor with the meat diet.

  • Fast-food is bad, not meat and fish as proven.

  • Statistically significant elevated risks (ranging from 20% to 60%) were evident for esophageal, colorectal, liver, and lung cancer, comparing individuals in the highest with those in the lowest quintile of red meat intake. Cross, Amanda (2007). "A Prospective Study of Red and Processed Meat Intake in Relation to Cancer Risk". PLoS Medicine (the Public Library of Science) 4 (12): e325.

  • To bad the data shows that before they started to eat junk food they had almost no cancers and no heart diseases with a 90% to 99% meat fish diet depending where they where living. All your other data is blown away by the Inuits.

  • Health Rep. 2008 Mar;19(1):7-19.

MAIN RESULTS: In 1991, life expectancy at birth in the Inuit-inhabited areas was about 68 years, which was 10 years lower than for Canada overall. From 1991 to 2001, life expectancy in the Inuit-inhabited areas did not increase, although it rose by about two years for Canada as a whole. As a result, the gap widened to more than 12 years.

  • So if it's terribly horrible for us did meat eaters thousands of years ago have a high risk of cancer? How come Jack Lalane who has ate meat his entire life and at age 95 works out for 2 hours a day and could pass as being in his 60s? Or Native Americans? I'm not saying eating tons of red meat is good for you but having a MR steak twice every two weeks is perfectly fine for you especially if you have a good diet. I'd be more concerned about cigarette smoke or our poisoned water supply.

  • "5-10% of all cancer cases can be attributed to genetic defects..The evidence indicates that of all cancer-related deaths, almost 25-30% are due to tobacco, as many as 30-35% are linked to diet, about 15-20% are due to infections..cancer prevention requires smoking cessation, increased ingestion of fruits and vegetables, moderate use of alcohol, caloric restriction, exercise, avoidance of direct exposure to sunlight, minimal meat consumption, etc

  • No safe minimum amounts of meat have been established.A single exposure to a carcinogen is unlikely to be problematical, carcinogens are most dangerous through repeated exposure even at very low levels- UK Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH).

Meat is an addictive teratogen, altering neural development. Cholesterol is unnecessary from diet and only risks CHD. Uric acid in all meat is also a carcinogen. Concentrated protein and fat is also carcinogenic, so is Neug5c in meat, etc.

  • Thanks for the copy paste.

  • Istill don't have cancer, so i'm calling this bs into question

  • knock on wood

  • Umm, many smokers don't have cancer, many heroin addicts are living normal lives, many alcoholics don't have sclerosis of the liver, many murderers are not in jail.

Justifying something because you haven't seen the bad effects is pretty silly logic.

  • Trying to justify something as fact because it happens to a few people isn't all that smart either.

  • I've never tried to justify anything because it happened to a few people.

  • Pharm Res. 2008 Jul 15

  • The mean estimated dietary intake of the sum of the 16 PAHs was as follows: male adults, 8.4 microg/day; adolescents, 8.2 microg/day; children, 7.4 microg/day; seniors, 6.3 microg/day; female adults, 6.3 microg/day. The calculated daily intake of PAHs would be associated with a 5/106 increase in the risk for the development of cancer in a male adult with a body weight of 70 kg. J Food Prot2003 Dec;66(12):2325-31.

~5% cancer increase from just 1 class of meat carcinogens.. Yet there are more.

  • 25% of US die from cancer. 33% of cases are preventable w/ diet. American Journal of Clinical Nutrition, Vol. 81, No. 2, 341-354, February 2005

So this is good news. The biggest risk factor for cancer can be controlled. And the way to obtain cancer is by gradual exposure. Modifying habits can save the lives of over 8% of the population through diet. Part of the problem is less fruit/veg is being eaten and replaced by meat/dairy. Combined they form the biggest factor.

  • "animal source food correlates with the country-by-country incidence of six types of cancer. It appears that the less animal source food per capita, the lower the cancer rate.

    Cancer- William Harris, M.D.

Of these variables, the highest correlation ( R=.76, p<.001) with breast cancer incidence was from animal source Calories, (with animal fat and the other animal constituents close behind)"

  • "people on a low-protein, low-calorie diet had considerably lower levels of a plasma growth factor called IGF-1 than equally lean endurance runners," says Luigi Fontana, M.D., Ph.D., assistant professor of medicine at Washington University and an investigator at the Istituto Superiore di Sanità in Rome, Italy. "That suggests to us that a diet lower in protein may have a greater protective effect against cancer than endurance exercise, independently of body fat"

  • 'is that like saying the only way a person doesn't die in carcrash is if they die of something else sooner?'

Not at all like that. In the case of compromised diet there is a cumulative effect of biochemical incompatibility, opposing digestive processes and various other diseases that may result from meat (not just the tumor growth and tumors thrive in high protein environments even if the source was not meat itself).

I'm not 'overstating' anything I haven't even given u numbers yet.

  • 'Eating meat doesn't lead to cancer, it increase the risk of getting cancer'

When oxidative stress outpaces antioxidant consumption or synthesis then degenerative diseases arise. This likelyhood increases w/age. So the only way a person doesnt' get cancer from regular consumption of meat is if they die of something else sooner (perhaps meat related, perhaps not), while dice-casting for diseases, meat doesn't just increase oxidative stress, it congests, acidifies, increases inflammation, etc.

  • Why not eat human flesh as well then?

  • It would solve the population crisis, but with all the crap that people put into themselves, I don't think I'd want to eat it ;)

  • well, actually flesh does not digest in humans. it actually rots in the intestinal tract for a while.

  • You do realize how sick people would get if meat really rots inside us dont you?

Get your shit together before you post stupid stuff.

  • it;s true look it up! hare krishna! :)

  • Were ever you got that from, they are wrong. Dont belive everything you hear on the internet.

If meat rots, then so does everything else.

You would get no nutritional value out of it.

  • 'If meat rots, then so does everything else'

Meat putrefies, fruit ferments. Meat consumption alters the intestinal tone as the body tries to purge it using opposing digestive processes as fruit digestion. Meat lowers pH and burns beneficial bacterial flora that would enhance nutrient absorption in food. Fruit promotes good bacterial flora, obtaining more nutrients and anticarcinogens.

  • Fruit ferments? Ok, no that is just retarded. You do realize what happens when friut ferments dont you?

Fermenting creates alcohol. So, everytime someone ate some friut, they would be drunk soon after.

  • well then i guess no one has to believe you either. it is scientific fact. get over it.

  • 'you do realize how sick people would get if meat really rots inside us dont you?'

You do realize that most people are sick don't you?

Get a Pubmed account, it takes 4 minutes, it's free. Do you know what it is? Type in your favorite disease styles and necrophagous diet, then type in lettuce and fruit and contrast.

  • Actually, most people are not sick.

I eat meat every day. So do a lot of people I know. None of us have any problems.

  • "health care costs attributable to meat consumption are ~+2.8-8.5 billion for hypertension, +9.5 billion for heart disease, +0-16.5 billion for cancer, +14.0-17.1 billion for diabetes, +0.2-2.4 billion for gallbladder disease, +1.9 billion for obesity-related musculoskeletal disorders, +0.2-5.5 billion foodborne illness. Prev Med.1995 Nov;24,6:646

1/3 human population is starving, 1/3 are overweight & ~1/3 is malnourished. NO nutritional deficiencies for wild apes have EVER been detected.

  • Stats aren't supporting your daydream. Just because billy bob isn't treating his congestion/constipation/anxiety doesn't mean the vast majority of people aren't sick with aberrant diets.

'Topics In Health Statistics June 2008

    Center for Health Statistics

75 percent of NJ adults aged 50 years and older reported using prescription medications in the past month; more than 20 percent used 5 or more medications'

Now factor in herbs, over the counter meds and the sick ppl refusing treatment..

  • (NaturalNews) More than 50% of US insured residents regularly take prescription drugs for at least one chronic condition, according to Medco Health Solutions, which manages prescription benefits for 20% of the population.

51% of US children and adults took at least one prescription drug for a chronic health condition in 2007. The majority taken at least once per day.

If u believe it natural for over half a scavenging hominoidea population to be clinically sick, at a given time, good luck.

  • Ok, so 50% of the people take medication. Now, how many out of that 50% eat meat on a regular basis?

  • The same thing was said by smoking doctors in tobacco commercials in the 50s. Maybe you should stop deluding yourself.

  • Twice a week? oh processed meat yeah.... fair enough but you'd have to eat it quite often to develop cancer within 10 years....but this isn't an excuse to go vegan! this ins't an excuse for vegeterians to stab meat eaters in the back! this is just a don't eat too much warning

  • cows are vegetarians right

    but they got the 'beef'

  • Yeah it is lol

  • So does eating "Sweet N Low", the sunlight also gets you cancer, using the Mircowave causes cancer, getting an X-Ray causes cancer, old peanuts also cause cancer. Everything causes cancer, that's why we take everything in moderation.

  • GO VEGAN!

  • no wonder red meat causes cancer, all of it is fucking processed. If you want to have a perfectly healthy life style, grow your own food on a farm. Theres this one guy who eats plants from nearby forests, and for his meat. (roadkill)

  • Go vegan for your health. Download a free starter kit from our Myspace page at myspace[dot]com/veganfuture

  • WTF? not twice a week! I eat meat 1 serve a day! that's clearly false! You'd have to eat like 5 serves a day 7 days a week for years for you to get that kind of cancer!

  • My grandfather lived to be 88. He ate red meat nearly every day of his life.

The conclusion: This study is a lie.

Btw, he died of old age and outlived several of his vegan allies in the war.

  • he probably eat meat that wasnt processed fully of hormones and disease the way it is today

  • AHA! So it is the hormones!

PETA tried to tell me all meat in general lead to cancer. Lying bastards.

  • Meat is still bad for you. There are alot of other factors & variables to be considered as well. And if you can't think of them, than I sure not going to tell you.

  • So you're saying there's no redeeming qualities whatsoever?

I think the scientific community would like a word with you then.

  • Only British Meat causes cancer, they do wierd stuff with their cows. I will keep eating meat with little concern. Matter of fact I have some sausage boiling. YUM!

  • No, actually the humans digestive system was not made for ANY kind of meat. So, even though you should be concerned, you don't have to.

  • I dont recall ever mentioning the digestive system. Im not concerned still yet, we are fattening a steer already, and just branded a bunch of younguns yesterday, some will end up on my plate. My grandad still eats meat and he is 88, still works and no sign of cancer yet. My grandma is the same, although she is diabetic.

  • no, actually the human system depends on meat, please stop spreading nonsense and learn something

  • No it doesn't, you quit spreading nonsense. Its been proven time and time again that meat is not as good as our food industries promote it to be, and now finally this already known knowledge is being released to the public. You dont have to be vegan or vegetarian, but you certainly can be without any negative effects. There isnt one shred of evidence that suggests me need meat that is based on any fact whatsoever.

  • we not me in my last sentence*

  • sorry i didn't mean to spam your previous comment. i was going to say "well said"!

  • ah ther is tons of evidence, ever hear of science? biloogy? i guess not. look just do a little research and you will see the truth. so again, stop spreading nonsense, learn something and feel better

  • Really? Ok give me a shred of evidence that says I have to eat meat to be healthy. You have to be pretty stupid to believe that is true. What kind of biology are you studying? The outdated kind?

  • @oregonskateok You do need B12 in order to avoid neurological damage.

  • hmm not surprised your from alabama

  • Well,I`m gonna eat red meat all I want. I love hamburgers, steak, roasts so what else can they think of to give us cancer or kill us? Eat up people! Beef it`s what`s for dinner! Surprised cows haven`t been labeled terroists too.

  • i DONT GET IT???? WHATS NICE ABOUT RED MEAT.,., IS THERE SOME FLAVOURED SHIT INT HERE OR WHAT.,.,,.., AND IS RED MEAT EVEN COOKED?

  • Mine`s always medium or well done,I don`t eat uncooked meat---if I want to get sick or anyone else they can eat at McDonalds...this country world can come up with the dumbest shit to get you to do something or not do it.

  • Well, go ahead because you'll be off the Earth soon enough anyway.

  • ever heard of an ulcer, cause that`s gonna wipe your ass off the earth soon enough-bitch!

  • There's a move in this country amongst some to restrict or eliminate transfats. But it won't stop there if this is accomplished. The next thing that will happen is the government will reqiure special "permits" for people to be able to buy certain foods and beverages if they meet certain qualifications. Then before you know it when you go to a restaurant the only thing that will be on the menu is water and salad.

  • Doesn't that family feel like they are guinea pigs?

What's the difference between child abuse and feeding children food that is known to contribute to heart disease and now cancer.
