i was 14 and i got my first REAL girlfriend (still have her :D)

i met her on some sort of music festival with HORRIBLE music!

a group of 5 people incl. me and her, said to eachother lets get the fuck away from this place; so we got to our homes, got our bikes and swimming gear, and met up at the local lake, and hired 2 boats...the BEST time of my live, with GOOD music and.....lots of food..........................­..............but escpecially the music :D

I remember along time ago, about a few years ago when I used to play with my friends everyday where I lived. It was a group of us, about 4-5 and we used to play childish stuff like capture the flag and dark hide and seek and stuff. And at night, we used to walk around and ding dong ditch and stuff trying to stay out of trouble, at the same risking that. I moved shortly after that. They changed by drinking and doing drugs etc. One of them are homeless now. I miss the good memories and summers. :(

One summer that always sticks out is my summer of 02. My friend who lived up the street would come to my house and wake me up everyday at 8am, just walk in my room and say get up. We'd play wiffle ball and go on bike rides all day along with sleeping in his tent in my front yard and sneaking out at night (we were 14 and 13 so sneaking out was a big deal) and just roam the town at night avoiding cops driving by. He died last year in an accident and this song always brings me back. RIP man
