~No worries though..you'll be able to use updates since your upcoming run isn't a NUR or NUR+. I'll be able to help you through it well enough no matter the case..it will just be more difficult for you depending on what you have for me to "work with"
It seems like I'm better suited to a BP Speedrun or even a BP NUR then a normal NUR. I'm just not loving how doing a Speedrun makes me feel..thus the diversions I've taken up. With dragonpwner, catkiller, Hwoarang_Master, abaddononion2, you and myself giving support to the SoD..
I believe it can receive respect similiar to that of the Hammer although we all know it won't get equal treatment as you really have to be quite good to begin with for a full run with it alone..for most bosses I demonstrate that the SoD has cheap tricks that annihilate bosses. Almost entirely because of "Piercing Shards".
This was the first place that I considered using Titan Storm to destroy groups of strong statues. I wouldn't waste my magic in a one on one fight with a Hades Minotaur nor its statue form but if put in a situation where there were a group of threats..I'd break them them all without much hesitation..sadly such a trick would never work on a Gorgon Queen...but a single shot of Lethal Vortex *20MP* or 4 FAST shots of the bow would. *16MP*
An extra bonus for the 4MP more spent is obvious in that it doesn't stop on the single target and can hit multiple...get this though..I may have been mistaken about PS auto-breaking but I am dead certain that Lethal Vortex does as I've tested it in AotF against the Hades Minotaur..it is only suppossed to do 10 damage per creature and their stone form has 50HP..nice
I gave the Kraken some love. I'm ready for Lahkesis and the Lahkesis/Atropos fight but I still can't figure a way to put an end to the Atropos fight quickly on demand..This run is teaching me so many new tricks..just like the old days when I first did a NUR in GoW1..I thought I'd seen it all and find that I've just scratched the surface
Another video done for the lulz. This time showing Titan Storm's usefulness in combination with Gorgon Rage. Enemies with strong statue forms aren't easily broken by Atlas Quake so it would suck to waste magic trying to crush them like that. This will show up again during big wave 3 of the Endurance Run *to kill most of the Satyrs and Hades Minotaurs*
NOTICE: Since I came into this fight with only 1/2 my magic *thanks to General Kratos and myself dicking around most of my fights* I use the Urn of Olympus to show off the magic. I've already taken into account how much magic I would have here in a normal run and this strategy would be fine so long as you got all the Feathers along the way *You would have 25MP left by the end of it*.
