Which is better (or faster)? Celeron or Atom?

I'm using an Acer Aspire One Netbook with an Atom N270 processor and I'm very pleased with the power this little processor has. I am able to have many programs open and use Firefox with several tabs open at the same time without any sluggish performance.

no not celeron, 360s has a power PC processor, not x86 or x64. it has 3 cores with a small cache which makes it cheap.

same for a video card, just have one custom made to your specs since no comnpany offers what you want, i seen people get ddr3 sata2 8 gig ecc ramdrives made for personal use. Exacerbated power drainage on desktop chips from intel and the refusal to lower chip voltages or release their multipliers publicly, nor even make green computing chips at all is suspicious and questionable honnestly, but you dont have to stand for it.

Atom would be handy if asus and intel collaborated on making it available as a desktop chip for green computing, the power envelope of the atom is nothing short of fantastic compared to power draining desktop cpu's, A 4 socket gaming motherboard with 4 atom cpus would kick the living shit out of any quad core, this would render ultimate efficiency, low heat, silent, fanless, and revolutionary power.

Heres a great idea. It's An Atom Build, It sits on your desk, Its got vista and is protected from Adult content, Its made to Eco Standards.

It has a good mark up and costs less energy use and Uses flash Memory all the way.

HP has a model similar for businesses but not one agressivly marketed at Eco home market.

I don't see why not myself it would encourage more Pcs for Childrens bedrooms ect.

I Just think the Marketing of this sort of stuff sucks.

Theres Intel and the others making them but inspite all these economic problem claims hardly anyones agressivly marketing watts for carbon foot print and energy cost issues ect ect.

What i don't see is a sales market ready for it still.

For Example when i inquired about watts to Accer they didn't get back.

With all this talk about Energy costs and Going green it seems strange to me that the PC Builders arent doing more to market low watt green PC's as watt products.

Some of thier products are low watt but theres little agression to point this out.
