The vehicle is fully amphibious so depth is not really an issue. No. Both cabs are powered. The cabs are connected by an articulation assembly that is hydraulically powered which enables the machine to turn. This assembly also contains a drive shaft that transfers power from the engine in the front cab to the rear tracks.
@timsurftim , This is a Swedish made machine, I wos a driver in a BV206 under my 2 years in the Swedish Army, From the beginning the 206 model was powered by a 2,8 litre Ford V6 petrol engine but the milage per gallon was was por so they put in a Mercedes 6 cylinder Diesel in stead, It have 4 track drive and float like a cork
