  • Did anyone else clench their arse cheeks at about 0:27? lol

  • Way too close. Made ME pucker up!

  • damn if you low side on these roads youre done!!

  • i like the WAHOO !! at the end

  • holy fuck that was close

  • Holy crap look at those friggen roads

  • fuck me that asshole coach driver needs his face punching in, what a asshole, lets hope a looney is on the loose and gives him a beatdown, the way he accelrated towards the bike is such a pisstake

  • fuckin blind busdriver

  • lucky ass

  • I thought it seemed like you gave that bus loads of room. Maybe it was ju8st the camera

  • NOT THAT CLOSE REALLY???, Holy shit,, close enough... It looked fun tho, hehe

  • @MOTOVATOR101 ;-)

  • The vehicle size for that road should be restricted before an accident occurs it should be acknowledged and acted upon ,that was in no way the bikers fault imagine if you had been in a cage

  • Comment removed

  • WooHoo! :)

  • Sod the near miss...that road made me do a sex wee in my pants!!! Where is it?

  • I see lots of comments blaming the rider (and the rider is to blame for part of the danger here, dont get me wrong) but that bus is going waaay too fast considering it's size and that it's going across both lanes.

There is no safety thinking on the bus drivers part and had he hit the bike it would have been the bus drivers resposibility. He could have been imprisoned for it!

The bus has no reason to RACE the bend like that, infact it only makes it more likely to fail the turn going THAT fast.

  • yeah, I don't pull over, cry and spend ten minutes reflecting on every near miss that ever happens to me, you look out for this sort of stuff but some things just happen.

  • dayum

  • You slowed down in good time giving the bus loads of space, it looks almost like the bus driver was trying to hit you :/

  • Like a boss.

  • close!

  • you said woo hoo, i woulda flipped shit lol

  • am surprised that the bus kept accelerating...... i understand you both know your limits but the fact you had to tilt the bike so your bars wouldnt hit is just WWWAAAAAYYYYY to close. good vid though :D

  • Thumbs up for good riding skills. Timing, reflexes and a bit of luck. Motorcycling at it's best IMO.

  • Yeah ok, he got a little close to the coach's turning area, but you don't see the coach driver exactly giving a shit about the bike's presence. What if the bike had rolled a little further on, is it ok for the coach to just crash into him?

Truth is, because it's "hard" work stopping and starting in those situations, many coach (and truck) drivers will do everything they can to keep up momentum, including bullying people into stopping/driving up the banking.

  • Well if it was me on the bike, I would of let the bus make the turn before even getting 100 Feet close to that turn....

  • only just my friend

  • i watched it again just to see the E30 soft top and the old merc convertible. Saweet. close on the bike though, damn spanish bus drivers!

  • well, if it was me on the bike, I would be dead

  • That was a bit close for comfort and the reason why it happened? Rider NOT paying attention to the road ahead and having consideration for other road users.

  • @Contractor240 You sound EXACTLY like me! lol

  • That coach should of been going slower. Simples

  • My Father loves these kinds of bikes, He's owned and ridden all kinds of bikes but this is the bike he would love to own.

  • Most badass reaction to almost being ran over.. WOOHOO! So glad my f800 has crash bars, I would have just ditched the bike and attempt to climb the retaining wall haha

  • This bike sounds very nice. I have a DL1000, and (after riding cruisers for 3 years before the V-strom), this smooth power at low rpms is the only thing I really miss now!

  • I would love to cycle on that road!!

  • Such a beautiful road, i would be pissed off so much if I was stuck behind that bus.

  • 'Woo Hoo' happens, but good riders learn from their mistakes. It doesn't sound like you even see this as a screw-up on your part. As someone else said, it won't be 'fun' when the next bus splatters you all over the road.

  • @geonerd I did acknowledge on original comments that I could have done that better. Don't want to come off or promote missing anything closely. No splattering by anyone please ;-)

  • @geonerd shut the hell up, he was happy he didn't get hit, and it wasn't his fault it was that close, he slowed down to a stop and waited with plenty of room, that bus driver was the dolt.. just like you... you dolt...

  • @geonerd How was it the riders screw up when the coach comes round the corner on the opposite side of the road, the coach driver should have waited until it was safe to cross the white line or chose a different route

  • @geonerd who says he hasnt learned from his mistake. I have had close calls on sleds all the time and that is what makes it so much fun. Do I learn from them, yes

  • @geonerd The bus crossed the line, the BUS should of made sure it was clear, the BUS should of taken responisbility to slow down if there was any doubt he would clear the on coming traffic. I think he did ok! Saw the hazard, got over to one side. I thought it was a bit aggresive of the coach to just plough round at speed. If in doubt you can always use the brake. Your completely out of order to accuse him of bad riding.

  • @geonerd It wasn't so much the rider's fault....he gave enough space for the bus to make the turn.....maybe he could give another 2-3 meters....nevertheless that bus driver should have slowed down as soon as he realized it was going to be such a close pass.....

  • It look like norway the trollstieken

  • Dude i read the description, you talked that down heaps haha, fucking bee's dick in that.

  • this title is braindamage just saying!

  • Me thinks you wouldn't have been woo wooing if you'd been splattered on the road.

  • shit is that the best driving road from top gear?

  • I actually moved to my right while watching the clip at the iffey moment. Was it as close as it looked?

  • You had between 0.15sec & 0.27 sec, thats 12 seconds of early warning you had from seeing the coach to meeting it, 12 seconds is a long time not to be able to read the road ahead

  • If you used proper observations you would have seen the coach earlier and been prepared to meet it on a tight corner, in your video you get a shot of the coach approaching at 0.15sec and again at 0.41 sec so again you should have anticipated you might meet this LARGE vehicle on a tight bend, ITS THE POOR RIDING SKILLS THAT CAUSED THIS TO HAPPEN, From your position you can see the coach before he can see you and you failed to factor this into your riding plan, get some advanced training!

  • WTF BUS ! :o

  • LOL!! I also had a "WOO HOO" moment this morning on my SV1000S on my way to work.. took a gap around a Ford pickup truck (Bakkie as we call it here in SAfrica), feels good, if only I could wheelie I would've wheelied away after the guy hooted at me. lol

  • that landscape gave me a orgasam so beautiful

  • por um pintelho....

  • BUS WANKERSSSSS

  • CRAP!!! That was really close man!! Good move!

  • what an absolute wanker of a coach driver

  • Dam that was too close!!!

  • Daaaaamn.

  • lucky bastard!

  • That was pretty close lol, but man that road is unbelievable!

  • Fuckin hell man what a dick. Bet he wouldn't have done that if you were in a semi truck.

  • 0:28 Victorious :D

  • Epic win

  • awesome road but just too much traffic for me.......

  • 'Woohoo' and rides on :) Nice vid

  • 'Woohoo' and rides on :) Nice vid

  • you know, for people that drive a giant vehichle for a living you think bus drivers would be better at it, a transit bus ran a red and almost killed me once, and he even had the audacity to honk at me on my bike.

  • Fuck ..lucky man

  • I sounds stupid but that road looks like the road in the alps with 21 hairpins leading up to Alp D'huez, it features on the tour de france, and i also been there skiing

  • Holy crap, you should have blocked the road and punched him hard.

  • Very lucky you were on the ball.

  • scary that the guy didn't see at all. ugh!!

  • Dont worry mate it takes more than a little thing like that to knock a gs over.. ha ha

  • Close ha!

  • i would've shitted myself. thats too damn close for my confort lol

  • WOO HOOO

  • If only u were a few yards down that road u would have fell off mount everest...

  • jesus, that coach didn't even slow down when he got close to you...gave me the chills

  • lol it looks like its in the middle of nowhere but that road was pretty busy haha

  • That bus shouldn't be allowed on that road. Jesus

  • Nice road craft there!

  • @Acibeb How's he an idiot coach? Larger vehicles need greater turning circles because the front wheels are behind the driver,YOU IDIOT

  • fuk me i better watch out for that next time !!!

  • @zanuha Ya there was. The coach could have kept turning out of the corner, even just a little bit, instead of straightening out. He probably didn't want to drop down a gear at that incline so he tried to carry speed trough it. Lazy ass.

  • Ha Ha : )) great fun!

  • Wow, that was really close!

  • those guys in the classic BMW and MERC cabriolets mustve been having the times of their lives, whilst you on the other hand....

  • idiot coach driver

  • @Acibeb

Because there was a better way to do that ._.

  • I think my balls just retracted up into my body.

  • HOLY FUCK BALLS

  • nice moves slick

  • "Woohoo" Welcome to Mario Kart

  • where is that?

  • @MARCELINO8888 In the Alps. Think it was Italy or Switzerland.

  • @MrEunuch thx. i like your vids

  • @MrEunuch transfagarasani...romania

  • @MARCELINO8888 it is in switzerland the bus is a Postbus

  • Wow thats mad sketchy dude. I dont get the comments saying its ur fault!?! I dun know how shit works in Switzerland, but here in canada if a bus swerves into oncoming traffic and hits you head on, its the bus' fault lol. If that happened 2 me Id snap.

  • Coach shouldn't be on that road, if it was a car instead of a bike the coach would've smacked straight into it.

Certain roads have vehicle limits and I guarantee that is one, coach company just probably don't give a fuck.

  • @thomashood10

The coach would have been fine.. if it was going slower and was prepared to stop when it should have.

  • geez. millimeters in that!

  • I seriously hate roads like that, it takes balls to ride a motorbike down one of those passes, I've only ever ridden 'up' mounatin passes that are less twisty on the way down :-D

  • big yellow and white 30 foot long 12 foot high bus coming towards you and you didn't give it enough room FAIL

  • what camera is that?

  • @KingsofSparta GoPro Hero HD. Good bit of kit and now the Hero HD2 is out maybe a bit cheaper.

  • haha Sounded like Kenny

  • xD dangerous driver!

  • damn that was a lil too close for comfort

  • btw... you could put the whole video on. I like driving with you on Alps! :)

  • 0:27 that driver already hit something or someone...

  • @NinjaTTT Nah he hasn't, i played red-light green-light with the spacebar and found that the mark is just a design on the paint

  • Huere siech, het dä nöd mol ghuupet? :O Isch mir scho öppe es Rätsel gsi, wieso dass die Postautofahrer überhaupt no en Uuswiis hend..

  • where were you driving at? Switzerland?

  • Whew

  • 0:18 You are on the other side of the road, putting the other motorists in danger.

  • @2falc0N If I were that other motorist I wouldn't mind because I realize that I would do the same thing to put myself in a good position to take the turn. His mirrors didn't even pass the white line! you must not ride.

  • XDD

  • you are a badass.

  • Good thing you are a smart rider. I know a few riders that wouldn't of stopped and would've kept going (which would've resulted in a serious collision).

  • well anticipated there mate ! 10/10

  • may not have been that close but it definitely was video worthy. sometimes the perception is what is most important.

  • spoko luzik :)

  • hahahahaha nice!

  • THats cool,Do you have the full version of your quest?

  • the bus driver is obliged to stop as it is he who has to cross the centre line

  • Well spotted! If you hadn't held back that could have made a maess of more than just your pants!

  • lol you would never catch me driving along that road, car, bike, or ATV lmfao I wouldn't even walk along it XD I hate roads like that lmfao

  • Comment removed

  • and what about YOU driving in the middle of the road at 0:17???

  • You got his number and a proof, I would have reported that to the police. Seriously, this was so close...

  • Give all video from that trip. Is very nice.

  • That one amazing road! must be awesome to driver there! Get thrills nice sight and the happyness of not dieing when you get to the bottom lol!!

    Where is that btw?

  • @ali050792 This is probably somewhere in the Alps between Germany and Switzerland. Almost every Alpine pass looks like this here :)

  • lol, that is some calm riding! I would have probably dropped the bike and run!

  • What a cool head you have. I would have chased that motherfucker down.

  • It's an international rule the drivers who go down need to give way for drivers going up

  • Your using the same GPS I do... Go ZUMO! :) Rock on

  • Why was a coach coming around a 180 turn riding R1200GS?

  • sounded like kenny from South Park riding the bike :)

  • LOL, a bit of excitement right there.

  • dude that was too close

  • Battered crap on a stick that was close! Nice spot and pull up though.

  • from this point of view, it seemed like the coach had plenty of room imo

    that has to be scary....

  • That looks scaryyy

  • good reaction to protect his left mirror at 0:28 ;)

  • "Woohoo" I'm alive

  • @MikeLenoch5 ;-)

  • @MrEunuch You probably could've given him more room because you shouldn't bet injury on another driver doing the right thing. He definitely should've continued to take the turn slowly and kept the wheel turned until he was more in his lane again though. He straightened out way to quickly and apparently really gave it some gas.

You gave him enough room, he took all of it. lol kinda douchey of him

  • @MrEunuch lol

  • @MikeLenoch5 He said "WooWoo" lol.

  • nice work, could have gone another way though. I would have stopped completely and given it space.

  • @megaelectric1 Yea, good lesson to learn. In the cold light of day easy to remember and I hope I do after days and days of doing that stuff. Too busy spending my time grinning!

  • @megaelectric1 hindsight 20/20

  • like a bauss like a bauss like a bauss

  • 0:18 WTF STAY ON YOUR LANE!!! stupid bmw driver....

  • typical swiss bus driver...

  • @sherbet24 Not only Swiss, just typical bus driver.

  • you should give more space for the bus dude..nice reflex though!

  • oh man, becareful, people are fucking crazy

  • damn wish i could ride on that road, with no damn bus on it either lol

  • milad223? if you have a near death experience once a week then maybe you should be on the bus and not a bike.

  • @arryace The near-death experiences mostly come from idiots in cages. I ride too(have been for over 15 years) and during the riding season here I probably have a pucker moment at least once a week. And 99.9% of the time the fault lies with the idiot behind the wheel of the cage.

  • thumbs up if you have a near death experience at least once a week like me :P

  • uhuu

  • Mate you did the right thing holding back, the coach driver needs a talking to since your not a car but a very vulnerable biker that can be killed so easily.

I would have chased him down, ride safe

  • @2wheelsteve Cheers Matey. Take care up there in the highlands too ;-). Glad to see you like riding in the wet so much too!

  • @2wheelsteve give way to slow moving vehicles coming up hill, pretty simple stay further back! Im a biker and a coach driver so can see it from both ways, you try taking 40+ ft of coach up there and stopping on that corner to let a biker who could easily have pulled up 10ft earlier go by........

  • @eimaj26 Well if the biker fucked up by getting close the the bend you run over him policy is it, come on the guy did good stopping and we know the rules of the road giving way to hill climbers etc.

No wonder most coach drivers are slammed by all other road users with that 'King of the Road' attitude

  • @2wheelsteve its not about 'king of the road' mate, he could see that coach from way further back up that hill all im saying is he could have easily pulled up earlier and prevented himself being that close to getting hit then nobody would have needed a talking to or chasing down as you put it.......

  • @2wheelsteve It's good manners, not to mention good sense, to give way to traffic coming uphill, especially traffic that needs more room to manoeuvre.
