  • It does have the sub-narative of the US occupying and setting up a police state on foreign soil, and under that authority there are mistakes made in political arrogance...It's not literally about The Iraq War but if you didn't see how obvious that plotting was I don't know what to say to you. must agree with Cyrus...

  • 28 months later with Brad Pitt is coming soon. =^)

  • its about zombie! i didnt se any muslims or a desert.

  • for once the black guy lives

  • Number 1 rule with zombies is to Leroy Jenkins.

  • 2:27 HAHAH Corey's face!!

  • 28 weeks is more enjoyable but 28 days is probably a better movie

  • Women: It's probably nothing

    Zombie: keep thinking that bitch

  • I love the music and the atmosphere in this and the first one but Robert Carlyle, who is one of my all-time favorite actors, makes this one better for me.

  • when don ditches his wife i would hav done the same & while running in my head say leg it leg it leg it

  • LEROY JENKINS!!!!!!

  • 0:29 that actually made me jump lol

  • 0:36

and as if to prove cyrus's point, jeremy renner then goes on to do The Hurt Locker

  • they aren't zombies lol

  • @ROCKBANDDUDE666 zombies or infected with rage, u still dont wanna get bitten by them =P

  • @Buxenwolf FOR REAL lol

  • @ROCKBANDDUDE666 They are zombies. Why aren't they?

  • @Dattebayo04 they never die, their body just gets infected

  • @ROCKBANDDUDE666 zombie means being mindless. So they are zombies, and this is considered a zombie movie. It's just like the zombies on left 4 dead.

  • @Dattebayo04 Zombie- (Haitian Creole: zonbi; North Mbundu: nzumbe) is a term used to denote an animated corpse brought back to life by mystical means such as witchcraft.[1] The term is often figuratively applied to describe a hypnotized person bereft of consciousness and self-awareness

  • @Dattebayo04 Those arent zombies in left 4 dead those are what they call, "infected." In this movie there are also no zombies just more of what they call infected people. Its a real close call but thats what it is. Just think of a sandwich vs a burger and how similiar yet different they are.

  • @shadowflare77 They are called zombies in Left 4 dead. They call them zombies in that game. Even the makers call them zombies. Don't try and make standards and not call them zombies.Same with that movie Dawn of the Dead.

  • @Dattebayo04 Actally the makers and games dont call them zombies, they are called "infected." And I wish I was important enough to make the zombie "standards," but Im not thats just what they are. In dawn of the dead they are zombies correct.

  • @shadowflare77 I only see slight difference in the zombies between this movie, Left 4 dead and Dawn Of the Dead. No matter how you put it, they're still zombie like feral creatures.

  • @Dattebayo04 I agree that the two moster types are real close in these 2 examples you gave but in Left 4 Dead the infected only kick and punch you in a blind rage while in Dawn of the dead although fast moving in the new remake they did crave and eat human flesh.

  • @shadowflare77 In left 4 dead they do beat you to death, but they still bite. In Left 4 dead two, a pilot was bitten by one, and he changed. The reason why the creatures in left 4 dead are full of rage, is because they are consumed with pathogen, like rabies. But they do maul.

  • @Dattebayo04 I found this off the begining of the Wikipedia page,"Like the original, Left 4 Dead 2 is set during the aftermath of an apocalyptic pandemic, and focuses on four survivors fighting against hordes of the infected, who develop severe psychosis and exhibit zombie-like tendencies." I did some reading also and it does look like they bite sometimes like Zoeys mother gettin bit in the face, but for the most part they are just filled with rage and not hunger. Ive enjoyed our back and forth.

  • @shadowflare77 Well they have rage because they are consumed by a pathogen even greater than rabies.

  • i am going to be honest because i didn't think i would like this film because danny boyle is not diercting but i was surprise because i love the fuck out off this film and it is better than the orginal and begging it self does get a full price best begging ever in film history and this movie is a really high full price i love this film

  • I luv danny boyles movies

  • @montyizsoamazing he dident direct it he was the producer

  • If the rest of film was lke the opening it may have been as good 28 days later.

  • I keep getting two different stories, are they zombies or is it a Rage virus? I haven't seen the movie, so which one is it?

  • @PS360Million Rage Virus started with infected monkeys

  • @AKIDPRODUCTION09 Thank you very much :D

  • @PS360Million its a rage virus. kind of like rabies. It causes a person to become overly and uncontrollably violent. you contract this virus like any other virus. But they are not dead, they are not re animated corpses, they don't need to take a head shot in order to be killed, and they don't eat the flesh of their victims, they just kill them very brutally. People call them zombies because they resemble zombies very much.

  • @PS360Million They arent zombies at all, I dont get why people keep calling them zombies.

  • @drunkpunkism It's because they look and act very similar to zombies, except they can run, and they throw up blood on you. In fact, that's what being a zombie is: a person who's infected with a zombie virus.

So in a way, they're kind of right.

  • @ilikethecoke No. What makes them zombies is the fact that they're mindless eating machines. Rather a zombie rises from the dead or is infected by a virus doesn't mean anything. Besides, slow zombies aren't even scary. They're just too slow like old people or something.

  • @drunkpunkism They are zombies. They're mindless which is what being a zombie is. Their only desire is too feed and they're mindless, so why aren't they zombies? Besides, I hate slow zombies. Who can't get way from a slow zombie? I like these fast infected ones like on Left 4 Dead

  • @Dattebayo04 Research zombie, its a human thats been brought back from the dead. On this film they just had a rage infection and they dont feed at all, hence why they die'd out in the original film, they are just infected with extreme rage. Have you even seen the first film?

  • that theme scares the shit out of me, which is why it is the best theme i have ever heard, it is PERFECT for a biologically apocalyptic movie and the movie in whole is a great sequel to the even greater 28 days later, 10/10, great movie

  • resident evil script writters and producers should learn from this ..... then maybe one day we'll have a decent RE movie again ........... there is still hope .......

  • The soundtrack scares the shit out of me..

  • its like dusk till dawn almost every one dies

  • "It's about Iraq's occupation" Lol, what a tool.

  • See reviews right when they come out! Sign up and make your OWN spill movie page at ------> spill.com

  • Can you like put up something which shows wtf manitee means? I mean: I get full price=good, but wtf does manitee mean? I ain't gonna go watch all these videos just to find out rofl.

  • @kingt34 it means go see the movie early for cheaper price. Before noon better said.

  • @thebadassjoshuaroca ohh ok cheers :)

  • @kingt34 Its there own personal rating system. Better then Sex = 5/5. Full Price = 4/5. Matinee = 3/5. Rental=2/5. some ol' bulshit =1/5. Fuck this movie = 0/5

  • SAD because this movie started so well then just lost the plot towards the end

  • Full price.

  • Sometimes horror directors can't come up with a good story so they just cover it up with blood and guts. But with 28 Weeks Later they manged to balance it. I love this film because you get so attached to the characters for example when Don got infected I was like like NOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This film is fantastic. I love it!

  • This movie is alot scarier if you are from england because if this happened in america, you would be fine because of guns but in

England we have nothing worthwhile to fight with.

  • The kidz pissed me off they was incredibly stupid if they hadnt gon off and found the lady none of this wouldve happened!! I wish they died!

  • The best thing about this film is the theme song/music. It sets the atmosphere for this film. Creepy and apocolyptic-ish.

  • Rule Number 1: Cardio

  • how is this about iraq?

  • @night4345 i agree. :| it's just about repopulating London after the outbreak and then it returns to get more people.

  • @night4345 you are retarded. Its about iraq..its civilans..vs military.....control..

  • @RayRai8262 doesn't mean it's about iraq

  • "Wait wait guy...Paris Hilton's infected enough." So f-ing hilarious! BURRRNNNN!!!

  • I wish i had more hands. So I could give this movie 4 thumbs down!

  • i love that music

  • Maybe the world itself is a big flaw... Sure most of people having seen this movie agree with you, sure!

  • I goddamn hated the end of this movie, it made no sense and was incredibly stupid.

  • SPOILER!!!! only the children survive with one army dude.

  • @Clawmarkedmovies lol why did i have to read your spoiler lol i was just about to see it

  • this movie does have a lot of flaws lol. too many to mention actually.

  • The Nightvison scene scared the hell out of me

  • Like this if you love the soundtrack to these movies :)

  • I always loved the music that plays when they chase don

  • The animations are pointless and look retarted

  • the military are the only safe ppl in the infection

  • Saw this movie in theaters it was really great!

  • the music's nice

  • niiiice review

  • This isn't a zombie movie, similar elements, but these are people who are really pissed off about nothing and killing not for food, but for the fuck of it.

  • @DII117 They are still zombies. They are mindless.

  • @Dattebayo04 But not walking dead tissue, just pissed off.

  • @DII117 No, it's a virus like rabies that makes them so ruthless, but they're still zombies sense they're mindless. Zombie doesn't mean walking dead tissue.

  • @Dattebayo04 The same way Vampire doesn't mean souless, night creature, deathly afraid of daylight (Twilight)?

  • @DII117 We're not talking about vampires.

  • @Dattebayo04 Wikipedia the movie and the director himself will state they're not zombies (I didn't edit it)

  • @DII117 He did not, and besides I just read "rage virus-zombie wiki", and clearly the infected, just like the ones in this movie, is a category of zombies.

  • @Dattebayo04 Fine, you win, the non dead, non people eating, things are zombies.

  • @DII117 kk

  • Yeah it was a perfect companion to the original.

  • I'm still not sure about this movie. The action is intense and it has a good soundtrack, but the characters and story fall a little flat. 6/10

  • Comment removed

  • The opening of 28 Weeks Later was one of the best I've seen.

  • The house in the beginning of the film was actually the setting for part of Children of men. Just a bit of trivia for you guys.

  • now im british and 28 days later is a brilliant movie charecters well developed and great direction

    very high full price

28 weeks later is much more aimed at the american market and the charecters are boring and anoying

    low mattine

  • if they had made the whole movie like they made the opening scene, this movie would have been amazing

  • not nearly as good as the original, but don't get me wrong, still great, and I would love to see another sequel

  • there not zombies though

  • @birsic3216 Just because they are not the risen dead, doesn't make them less of zombies. Zombie means mindless.

  • I loved both 28 days, and weeks later. they are both kick ass movies.

  • i have to say these guys are now infintely better at reviews than they used to be

  • I likes how people with heterochomia (different coloured eyes) are immune to the 28 days/weeks virus. This means out of all the people who would be left alive to wonder the earth uninfected, perfectly safe (this is if they don't get beathing up to death because these zombies rarely bite) is Simon Pegg! that in my eyes is comedy gold!

  • 28 Weeks Later is an excellent movie! That scene where Robert Carlyle is just running across the plains for his life just gave me goosebumps. The fantastic cinematography just took my breath away.

  • @MaskoftheWraith you hit the nail in the head. yes that is just fucking scary. I have a home in baja california in in the hills and its in the middle of nowhere , i go to work and leave my wife at the house,, she has seen the film and it scares the shit out of her thinking about it.

  • @nando90210

Lmao! Well at least you're relatively isolated, when Z Day comes you'll have the advantage ;P

  • @MaskoftheWraith The great thing about that scene is that one minute you're thinking he's a cowardly bell-end for leaving the woman, but the next, you're praying that he gets away from the zombies. I was just screaming,

"RUN ROBBIE!! RUN YOU FUCKING RETARD!! RUUUUUUUUUUUUN!!"

and that struggle on the boat is so epic. The tension was mental innit?

  • @urbangekko

LOL exactly! I was like "Awh nawh c'mon Robert don't just leave her - WAIT SHIT THERE'S ONE BEHIND YOU! RUNRUNRUNRUNRUN!!" xD

  • i enjoyed the movie but it doesnt have a comparisen to the first one

    low matinee

  • I loved Days and Weeks equally.

  • opening scene was off the freakin chain. i;d be scared too like well honey theres a good chance your dead...PEACE !

  • this movie had an amazing soundtrack

  • My fave horror/zombie movie is Dawn of the Dead. It owns all others. FULLSTOP!

  • Well finally someone post atleast a few seconds of don abandoning his wife with the real sounds instead of shity background music

  • @DANTEPLYX are you kidding me the music was AWESOME!!!!

  • @SimonLaRocca Ok its possible you DIDN'T understood what I meant.

In any clip you find on youtube that has the scene of Don abandoning his wife there's no audio it's the crappy benny hill theme or Rick roll or something dumb.

  • @DANTEPLYX the theme is one of the best ive heard

  • This movie is my number one gory movie just for one scene. The one where the mother is tied to the desk and the husband kills her.. Very brutally. Yeah.. That scene was abit too much for me :/

There is one thing that i don't understand tho. The time when the soldier had to push the car to start it before the guys with the flamethrowers roasts them all. Why couldn't he just opened fire on the flamethrower guys? They still had bullets since they used the weapon later so?..

  • @qazokmmomo1 but still stupid to kiss a person who maybe infected

  • 30 people are fast zombies

  • Here's my alternative:

The main guy sees his wife from the other of the bridge and sneaks out. However, the army sees him and starts attacking him. There's hundreds of people on the outside, of the safe zone, that want to get in; but all of them are carriers. They manage to get in, through a huge riot scene, but end up infecting everyone; the main guy has to go back in there and rescue his kids before the military nuke it.

Cliched, but as much as the actual plot which got hollywood syndrome.

  • What i cant let pass in this movie is how the zombies start again:

1- Kids go to the abondoned part of london, that would never happen, kids would be fucking scared of going anywhere near that place, they wouldnt even leave their apartment, did they forget about the zombie infection that killed everybody.

2- Man kisses zombie, stupid! Who the fuck would do that?

3- The military puts the citizens in a place where no one can get out or in, but a mindless zombie gets in and infects everyone.

  • @mark33850 thank you so much and also another thing...MP gaurd is gaurding an infected woman with the most deadly virus ever in a..simple mask. it would of made sense if they had full bio gear on grhhh. I loved the first 1 so much because of how alone and empty London felt and how much you could feel yourself running around scared shitless trying to find something to protect yourself and how errie an empty country felt. 2nd one was to departed from the first I felt

  • @mark33850 1- the kids are told the zombies are dead and want to go an see their old home 2- he doesnt think she has the infection an she is his wife that he thought was dead so obvs he wud kiss her 3- the zombie didnt get in. the guy became infected whilst inside the safety zone because he kissed a carrier. ==== your points show u really didnt understand the film

  • @RuuYaa96 WTF 1- You know why its called a Safe Zone? Because the other zones arent safe! Theres still proability of infection in the other zones! Also, think about this, if there isnt any proability of infection why the fuck is the military guarding the safe zone and stoping people from going out of this zone? 2- Shes in a isolation cell for a reason! 3- Zombie Don does get inside and then everybody gets infected. I dont think you understand the film...

  • the part where the guy abandons that lady is messed up, i haven't seen the movie but i'll think about it

  • @shadowknight539

I think logically, what was he going to do? Throw himself to the zombies, while the lady takes the kid outside and trips and get's killed anyway?

  • days was much better...had alot more emotion and character- weeks is just like a dissapointing rollercoaster

  • this movie is like left 4 dead game

  • 28 Weeks Later gargles balls. The first one had a strong first half at least, this one just sucked ass all around.

  • They are gunna make 28 Months Later. Its gunna star Clive Owen as a SGT in the SAS and there is barely anyone elf ton earth..looks good.

  • @LutenantDmitri Thats not true.

  • 28 Wekks to me had a worse story then 28 days. but it was ok..both films ar eok

  • Karlyl was right about the Iraq thing, it wasn't supposed to represent that.

  • its a really good movie, but sometimes the camera reminds me of cloverfield because its sometimes shaking too much. i enjoyed it more than i did with zombieland(i still enjoyed zombieland),but im giving zl some points because i can at least see what is going on

  • @rickthegunslinger It´s cloverfiled that should remind you of this and not the other way around as 28 weeks later was released a year before. I actually didn´t like cloverfield, it seemed too synthetic and i find that 28 days and 28 weeks made a more convincible stroyline and characters

  • Goddamnit I love that scene with the camera panning over all the Zombies chasing that guy. Makes me all warm and fuzzy inside.

  • How the heck did you get Iraq? Seriously at no point did i watch this film (Fantastic btw) and say "Oh yeah they're obviously putting a political statement here..

  • Opening: Full Price

    Next 45 minutes: Low Matinee

    After that: VERY LOW Rental

  • well I didnt see the whole move but why dont the infected people attack each other?

why does everyone stand there and scream at them

why do random zombies appear wherever the survivors go

  • @blazejames47 they are infected with rage, and they want to harm other people and make them suffer, and they do that by infecting other people. they smell soap and stuff like that so thats how they track the survivors.

  • Iraq?

  • They have Muse posters behind them. That makes them even more awesome. Good Muse song in the trailer for this movie as well.

  • We need parkour zombies!!! now that would be scary as shit.

  • slow zombies are somewhat cool because they're the 'classic' design of a zombie... but they're not halfway as dangerous as a fast zombie. slow zombies may only get you when they're in groups and surround you or if one of them manages to get you before you notice them what-so-ever... a single fast zombie is a threat to multiple people, because no matter how far you run, that thing's gonna get you, unless you manage to kill it.

  • Ahhaha, I laughed for about three minutes- "We lost control... kill everyone."

  • I liked both 28 days later and 28 weeks later

    28 days: low full price

    28 weeks: high full price

  • @NarutoYaoiFa wow ur the first person ive seen to prefer the second one, why? just curios =]

  • That john guy from the movie is a DICK.

  • The problem with this movie is, that it tries to make you care for these stupid ass shit kids, who are the sole reason for everything that happens. I want the kids to die. On the other hand it looks at the father character as an evil man, because he left his wife at the beginning, when there was nothing at all he could do. I was rooting for the father troughout the movie.

  • I don't know how anyone could like 28 Days Later. Days was just bad. Slow pace, uninteresting actors and just generally FUCKING BORING. Jesus Christ, 28 Days was fucking boring. I was actually so put off by 28 Days Later that I put off watching 28 Weeks Later until tonight! I just finished watching it and I LOVED it! It has a faster pace, better story, Don made the movie. It was action packed, good story, and most of all it was actually fucking SCARY. Survival at its finest.

  • civilians vs. government = iraq

  • @patti985 Not quite. But hey, don't let me make you do some actual research.

  • @jawehawk yeah the "terrorists" were just average people and now america wants their oil

  • @patti985

Iraq doesn't have a whole lot to do with terrorism. But hey, keep showing that you have no clue about what you're talking about...

  • @patti985 While we're pulling out vague references out of our asses. Apple vs Cinnamon = The winner mon.

  • thats London for ya

  • I liked 28 Days Later more.

  • God there are some nit-pickity fucks here, It's a zombie movie get over yourselves.

  • and this is why pure british films are better...

  • This film is not about the military vs. civilians. It’s about the military vs. the virus, just happens that the civilians are in the middle! BTW, it is not a zombie movie… you guys are the worst reviewers on the net!

  • @Villesanti You purist really don't like anyone saying zombie without mentioning George Ramero right? They're zombies. End of story.

  • this really wasnt a zombies movie, they were alive just had a rage virus

  • eye rack?

  • 28 Days Later= Really Bad movie

28 Weeks Later= One step further to shitiness

  • @seanjeaici you blow at being a critic. they are both amazing movies.

  • @fubous I don't look at these movies from your perspective so why should I be listening to you

  • @seanjeaici you look at movies to nitpick the worst parts, and if its not your type of movie its terrible.

  • @fubous 28 days later was awsome, but weeks i didnt like it that much

  • @fubous 28 week later kind of sucks in my opinion

  • @seanjeaici How do you sleep at night? 28 days later was an awesome flick, part 2 wasn't as great but still a good film.

  • @XXNeMo818XX I am going to review 28 Days Later today and explain why I dislike it and 28 Weeks Later.

  • @seanjeaici go fuck yourself

  • Ya it was a good movie but still jsut a 3/5

  • I honestly hated this movie. Not for the zombies or the setting but how the big the plot holes were. The whole reason why the society went to hell was because 2 stupid ass children found their infected mommy. Her husband without ANY escort get's infected from kissing her. And how stupid all the guards were from stopping him. I'm serious after the husband get's infected, he runs in the hallway, covered from head to toe in blood, taking down guard after guard with absolutely no resistance.

  • @Timewap I mean come the fuck on, who just stands there, with military training and experience with ZOMBIES, and be like "Hey that guy has blood all over him across the hall, I wonder if he's okay". And the biggest slap in the face in the end is the children are infected and they get airlifted to the next city. I was hoping just one person would blow on of those little shits heads off.

  • this movie is fucking CRAZY.

That guy who leaves his wife was a bitch. glad he becomes the 1st zombie after the dumb shit decides to kiss her once the Army finds her.

love it, i like the 1st one more. I wonder if they will do a 28 months later...
