How are ya going to get it though emissions without a cat?? I straight piped my 04 from the cat back and it sounded exactly like a VTec Honda:-( I just traded it for a 09 and the stock exhaust just isn't loud enough but I want a deeper sound while passing emissions at the same time lol
sounds pretty good man! i just bought a 2012 colorado extended cab 4x4. thinking about putting a cat back on it. need to keep my stock headers and cat to avoid voiding my warranty :P
@aguy12342 lol :) well i bargained with them and got them to throw in the extended bumper to bumper warranty at no cost so i need to at least keep it valid lol! they even told me that if i get a catback exhaust that isn't made by gm, that they won't cover me if my cat ever fails. and i was like but the exhaust connects after the cat so there is no way it would be the cause of failure.
sounds great man, got a good tone. i got an 07 regular cab 2.9l and im looking at the super 44 as well, i was worried about it sounding too much like a little civic but that tones nice. how much did that cost you?
@njbassman76 everything together was about $170. But that's also for the tip, and you really have to have a bigger tip like that to make it sound deeper. Also, I have a deleted cat.

are you using stock pipes and just the 44 series muffler?? or do you have custom pipes??

@reaper8987 I got the tip at my local muffler shop. It was a black chrome tip, about 4" long.
