I was onboard the ship in Perth WA and all was great. However, in Shanghai ( The peoples republic of China) armed police stopped visiting people (mostly Scandinavian tourists) to get close enough to just see it. Here it was by special invitation only!!! To me this became a very contrasting experience from a democratic country (Australia) and a military dictatorship (Red China) where this must effect all aspect of life. Democratic Taiwan should govern for all Chinese!
