Can't you model a rocket stove and fire it by burnig sticks in it like a pizza oven . The stove clay is, heat retaining layer. some straw, enough clay to hold the mix when a ball of it is dropped from the hip and enough sand to stop the same ball flattening . The insulatiing layer the same with more straw or husk and the third with dung too that makes it more rain proof. Look up "pockets of the future" and other clay stove sights. rose.
Thanks for posting this. I am planning to build one and I enjoy your thorough video. It requires bricks, bailing wire, pliers or a vice grip. Nice. Thank you so much. God Bless You! Looking forward to using this to boil tea.
nice idear...all you need are some pliers, wire, a 'special' brick saw, an endless fuel source & money to buy the bricks, oh yeah wait a minute...:- {.
in the poor rural parts of Zambia where I am from, this will never catch on no matter how much 'education' is provided there's simple to much 'to do'...solar ovens must be the way forward, no fuel needed, I salute your work keep it up

Not likely that you are from Zambia. You would have the simple common sense to use a stick to twist the wire.
You would also have the simple common sense how to make mud bricks, as evidenced by their many mud-brick houses at the start of the video.
wow i'ts great a.a.a.a.ah.ah lil it a lil bit LOL great trying to develope simple wayws of building a rocket stove eepecialy there in africa not every body have the money to buy expensive material or stove makig it.
Are those light weight brick, and high heat retention as well?

what is expensive about mud bricks and baling wire. He said any knife will cut the bricks.
How else will they cook and eat the missionaries?

This video was made for Eliza, going to South Sudan, and Mary, going to Uganda. They are going to start new stove projects. Happy travels:-).
