i posted a video response so you can check it out maybe?

  • What kind of pen are you using to draw shadows?

  • ur really good

  • I am definitely an artist and that is pretty darn good for someone who doesn't claim to be one- And helpful too I should add. Thank you for the video.

  • Nice job, thanks for posting this!

  • i watched this at school one day then the next day we drew eyes like this but you know that thing he uses to smudge the lead, its called a roller its like a rolled up piee of paper and it smudges it to make it look better! and well everyone took them at school and my friend STOLE 2 of them from the teacher 1 for her and 1 for me but i gave mine back and my friend got mad at me and slapped me in the face and i was like >:o meanie!

  • Lo sentimos señalar esto, pero estoy orgulloso: Tengo 14 años y puedo dibujar mejor los ojos que esto: 3

  • I just wanna say thanks for this vid. J'ai quatorze ans, just like mister modest up there ^^. I didn't have the right tools for this, but I was able to do it anyway. I never knew I could draw anything like that. Thanks for helping me realize my potential.

    - Excuse my French :p

  • in 1:30 what is that pencil type ???the name of it please

  • Go from 0:30 to 2:45 .......big difference (not being sarcastic)

  • FAIRLY REALISTIC? THATS AWESOME!!!!

  • *psychologist * and

  • @abrady987 You obviously can't draw, so you can't say anything an who are you to judge his social life from a comment. To me you sound like some rich snotty brat who fancies herself a artist and psychiatrist.

  • 3D WoW

  • Great work, the eye looks amazing!!

  • Sorry to point this out, but I'm proud: I'm 14 and i can draw better eyes than this :3

  • @tuuurdle

    Whoopty freakin doo.

  • @tuuurdle wow only 14 !!?!?!?! and already so pretentious

  • @tuuurdle it barely gets any better than this... because this is pretty much 97% perfect. it'd be fine with a whole face drawn with it. js

  • @tuuurdle He never said that this are gonna be perfect eyes..he told us in the beginning..that he doesn't claim to be an artist...but i think...you claim to be one.. huh??...come on show us some of your "masterworks".. -.-

  • @tuuurdle Way to be a deck

  • @tuuurdle i dont think so , your dumb

  • @tuuurdle You're gonna end up being proud of yourself all by yourself if you don't use your talent to help and encourage rather than cut people down.

  • @tuuurdle wanna cookie?

  • hey i wanna know hows this videos music called

  • @danjimyful

It's from the old Descent II game.

  • Copying for art coursework, THANK YOU!

  • WHat music is this? Is it from a game? I like it!!!

  • hey, don't pay attention to all the negative critiques. for people who cannot draw at all (like me) this is amazing.

  • What are you using to draw the eye ?

  • pretty good work for an AMATURE

  • @janiwinbush815 IF you COULD draw yourself, you would give tips. Not be a fucking cunt because you're angry you have no friends or social life.

  • @abrady987 bitch i gt moe social lyfe dan yo dumb retarded asx if u aint gt nun niice ta say den dnt speak at all cuz ion need u commentin on my shit fck u betta get dat shidd right

  • @janiwinbush815 Don't you think that's a pretty ironic thing to say, or do you not understand that concept?

  • this such . can you do it ?

  • the music :D

  • no offense, but your drawing... sucks.

  • how the hell did this get so many views this sux...... a damn plastic circle stencil gotta be kiding me

  • what is this tool in 1:45? please answer fast

  • @XTwittyX It's a tortillion. You can buy it at a craft store.

  • @zanatabby123

hmm ok but can you explain me wgat exactly tortillion is? I'm not english and the translator doesn't translate me this word :) what material is that and what it do?

  • @XTwittyX Its a blending stick.

  • thanks so much i love this keep makin more vids ! my eyes i made looks exactly like that! thanks !

  • Wow.. I'm proud of myself, thanks for tha video. d:

  • it's okay i gues... look it's a real good drawing for somebody who doesn't do this as proffesion... but talented, no. studied, yes.

  • ill never understand that how to draw the lashes.

    Nice work ;)

  • shit music

  • You are quite talented. I think that you should add some shine to the pupil, considering light reflects off of eye lens. Otherwise, being realistic looking.

  • that is the thing you use in 0:52 minutes?

    Please

  • @tijasdak7

its called a tortillon and its used for shading. you can get them at any art supplies store:)

  • @Xxipukerainbowz Odd as it sounds, I had an eyeliner pencil with a tortillon looking thing on the other end (For blending make-up) and it works pretty well too. Obviously it's probably better to have a real one, but I've never had any issues with using the one on my eyeliner pencil. :)

  • not an artist??? you knew about the tortillon thing... not many knew that trick... amateurs usually use tissue paper (not sayin that experts don't) or worse, their fingers!!! one more thing, you know the areas to shade...

  • not an artist my asshole u got talent thumbs up for u

  • your music is scaryy mannn!!!! T_T

  • very easy....

  • You are an artist but when putting a spec of light in the eye you should draw that curved square and leave it blank but smudge around it Kay

    But great job

  • im jealous

  • Don't listen to them,

    This is pretty.

    :]

  • i like it

  • you suck at this, for real!

  • @ayranladillao

    LOL

you think you could do it better? show then.

  • Song name pls?

  • what is your pencil

    ...?

  • Gosh what marker thing is that?

and the pacer/mechanical pencil, what brand?

    Wonderful.

  • And you claim not to be an artist? You're one of the best! Thank you.

  • Divno,

  • bad but yuh tried

  • Wow ur good!! What's that marker thing called lol ???

  • it is a good aye it looks sooooo real

  • im glad you didn't decide to be an artist (as an occupation). lol you tried

  • @darKILLusion95 lmao and y is tht?

  • @asandman94 lol, don't get me started. Most of the "techniques" shown for drawing the eye is definitely wrong (from an artist's point of view at least - you should NEVER smudge) therefore....what can I say?...they TRIED. lol

  • @darKILLusion95 but then y are smudging stumps or tortillans made for?

  • @asandman94 I use smudging with tortillons in my manga instead of toning. I'm an independant artist and need unorthodox techniques if I want to be different. So I'm doing it all by hand. A good artist uses anything and everything...except if it's computer generated then the line is blurred between an artist and a non artist. That's why even my coloring, emphasis on the phrase, "Everything by hand.", is by hand.

  • @asandman94 not mot really for this; I suppose if you were to draw something as precise and expressive as the eyes smudging is not advised :/

  • @asandman94 it helps smear around the led or chorcoal(which ever, it dosent matter). it helps form a shadow of sorts

  • @darKILLusion95 I use smudging with tortillons in my manga instead of toning. I'm an independant artist and need unorthodox techniques if I want to be different. So I'm doing it all by hand. • @darKILLusion95 Love to see how you add depth without talking outta your ass LOL.

  • @zeokenX im not tlking out of my ass, I'm just stating what is strictly MY opinion. JERK. lol

  • @darKILLusion95 Then keep that opinion strictly to yourself ESPECIALLY if you dont even have a video to show for it =/ Like seriously,I could even post pointers without a video on here but it makes me look that much smaller "posting" without posting a video,am I right? Point is simple, post a video or learn to have commits such as your taken as garbage =/ Call me a nigger or jew next time ok?

  • @zeokenX i think the point of having a comments section is for people to relay their opinion, therefore I don't thisnk posting my opinion is wrong. Just because I don't have a video to reinforce my comment doesn't mean it isn't valid. Also, I chose to call you a jerk because that's who your last comment showed you are.

  • @darKILLusion95 School girl much? You are right about the opinionated matters, just keep in mind if its not constructive especially if Iam reading it,its "holes" will be patched up so to say.Just like I know rather than thinking,it takes a jerk to know one =/ When your offering suggestions, its to be used in the same playing field or its not as valid as you may think it is.Thats like me for example playing a top tournament player online and beating him when hes at his best offline.

  • I love you no homo :) really helped me

  • I'm sorry but your eye is very horrible...

  • instead of the tortillion can we use a kneaded eraser?

  • @wolfgodproductions lo no its an eraser the tortillian moves and smooths out graphit

  • lol the music sounds like the soundtracks of doom!!!!:D:D:D great draw

  • dats nicee

  • yeah thats quite good but I must say I am haveing alot of trouble getting the shape of the eye but yeah pritty cool thx

  • good drawing :D

  • sucks

  • מדהים!!

    נ.ב מוסיקה גרועה אבל הציור?פששששששששששש....

  • The music was kinda bad but the drawing was good! 6/10

  • Where did you get that ruler!!! I NEED TO HAVE ONE!!! =D

  • fajnie mi ciebie zal. taki z ciebie artysta ze nawet nie potrafisz narysowac kolka od reki tylko szabloniki se przykladasz xD

  • great

  • GOT. TO. HAVE. THAT. RULER~!!

  • @jeratak lol me too .. i got an idea .. LETS KILL HIM !! :D XD

  • you must got a higher grade then A+

  • omg you r good

  • SUPER TALENT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Patrząc,można się czegoś nauczyć...

  • awesome XD

  • Awesome but don't use mechanical pencils for something as soft and organic as human skin, much less at all. Kneaded eraser is better for highlights and faint smudging.

  • @yonono1 YOU MUST BE SAD

  • ahuevo muchas gracias buen aporte ahora ya se como perfeccionar mis dibujos

  • that was hard at first then i realistied what you had said

  • try a real pencil

  • @vooreeuwigmyangel Oh, im sure you can do much better then?

  • @ehdie1 nope, I think my girl can, cause I'm pretty sure she was logged into my channel when she posted the reaction x]

  • What kind of pencil are you using, if you don't mind me asking.

  • The is very good! The recommendations I have are 1. When you are drawing the iris, leave a part of it white instead of shading the whole thing then using an eraser 2. When shading in the actual eyeball you want to do it lightly so that it looks nearly white, but not completely and lastly when you are doing the fold of skin above the eye, to it thinner. But other than that is very good :)

  • How long did it take you to draw? Real time? Not 4 or 5 times faster!

  • nice!!!

  • very impressive, i love how realistic people actually make them look.

  • FYI youngjulienlive it IS realistic looking and if your so good at drawing that you can do it in your sleep why are you watching the video? Because I think that most people watch this because they need help in knowing how to draw an eye SO what's your excuse for watching the video?

  • whats that tool your using to make the eyeball

plus the eye crease is supposed to be much skinnier

  • @theskullkid333 I'd like to know the same thing, I guess it's some kind of ruler but I have no idea where to get it

  • whats that tool your using to make the eyeball

  • whats that music

  • i can do that shit in my sleep...but nice try...looks like a cartoon eye

  • thats impressive, you make it look easy!

  • love the pic, even though u put up a real creepy music;;;

  • wat type of paper did you role for the blending stub

  • cool

  • it is not fake i just drew it and it looks the same

  • fake

  • wow

  • wow

  • Really GOOD!! (:

  • can you make a tutorial on how to draw a face? so you show how to draw a nose and mouth too?? because you're amazing! beause of this video, I know how to draw eyes now :D

  • @azaria800 nope...it's a blending stump...

  • this is good! dont sell yourself short!

  • scary sound :(

  • can u do a tutorial on how to do those magnificent lines that u begin drawing in 0:32 ?

  • wath the fucking song

  • are u using a pencil?

  • thanks just helped with my homework!

  • what was that pen thing you used on 0:54?

  • HA wow that is pretty epic!! :P :)

  • your epic at drawing!

  • where can i get a blending stub? In art-class we have to draw a self-portrait with just looking in a mirror ... I´m reâlly scared ^^

  • blending stubs are cheating.

  • @Blondyjuj using a blending stump (not 'stub") is NOT cheating, or they wouldn't sell them in "ART STORES". I think this video effectively shows how anyone can draw an eye!

  • @KFlifestyle in many art classes they aren't allowed. you have to shade those areas by hand with very hard pencils, and it's more challenging. if you want an easier way to draw, then yeah, use a blender. and i wasn't saying this wasn't an amazing eye, it is amazingly drawn and very realistic, but if someone wanted to challenge themselves, they would not use a blending stub.

ps. some people call them blending stubs, did you not see the videos annotation?

  • @Blondyjuj In my 42+yrs of drawing there's no such thing as "can't use this "stump" in the art world. Artists use whatever supply that they feel will best faciliate their needs, felt. chamois, cotton, fingers (not advisable due to oil) for rendering a final product that has their personal stamp of creativity, whether the objective is for sale or show. Its not about being easier or harder. I will say; at the very least; the demonstrator could have made a pupil/iris without the stencil ;)

  • @Blondyjuj How on earth is blending cheating?

  • @Blondyjuj How are they POSSIBLY cheating? It's ART. You're supposed to EXPRESS yourself, not worry about impressing other people with techniques.

  • للفن و للابداع ناس وللقول قناص و الخصم خاسر ..!.!.!.!.!

  • I like it :D

It's not perfect, but still good ^^

This techniques are helpfull and with a little practise everyone can draw an eye like that ;)

  • LOL

  • :S that is a joke

  • whats the song at 0:02 pls?

  • Comment removed

  • i love the tools ur useing!

  • I dont think the eyelid crease is quite as thick as the one you drew, and i think you should make the irises/pupils larger. Otherwise, its great :D

  • where did u get the stencil from ??????

  • did u use clay

  • Hey there, you migth be interested:

  • very and very and biudifl !!!!!!

  • thanks for the tutorial :3 but

wow dude, what's with the scary music? xD

  • @squareroot99999999 do you have to sharpen the end of the blending stick?????????

  • i know you said fairly realistic but you should be proud! this it great!

  • nice

  • Not a half bad tutorial. I don't quite agree with using a stencil or anything, however, even while learning and cultivating your own artistic talent. It can be too easy to end up depending on it.

  • pupil is to small...no shine..

  • this sounds like metroid music
