The UK doesn't actually have a King, only a Queen and her consort (Prince Philip). The Household Division provides regular army troops for the Guard at Buckingham and St.James's Palace, and the Tower of London. The Division consists of 5 Foot Guard regiments (all infantrymen) and 2 cavalry regiments (armoured recce). Members of the various regiments have served in Iraq/Afghanistan.
