Rest in peace Johnny and thank you for every single song.

Without you I would not be the man I am!

  • Wow - thanks to whomever captured this remarkable and moving performance by one of the all-time greats.

  • still a great voice, in his last gig too...thanks Johnny, for everything.

  • johnny was a precious man. im so glad ppl were there with him to speak about his June. The song he sang was so dear. Angel Band....im so sure they were there for johnny and june. No matter his voice, johnnys talent shines. Itsbecause of his love for others. Nothing shallow or fake about that.

  • that is so sad

  • I cried.

  • Bless his heart --- there is nobody like Johnny Cash and he LOVED June. Barely going himself in his speech but when he sings there is no mistaking that voice. May he and June rest in peace. Yep - people should have more respect and be glued to his every word instead of shouting out and walking around.

"6 Foreigners" fuck you right there dickless prick !

  • So emotional

  • so long johny ,WE all miss you ,

RIP Johnny , It's good to know that your with June now

  • johnny is a legend...new misic is garbage

  • *Everything.

  • Exactly. Elvis was the king of Rock and Roll, Michael Jackson was the king of Pop, Johnny Cash was the king of everythink else.

  • anybody who would call music shit doesn't know who Johnny was he loved music almost as much as his beloved June. Thank the person who gave us this video I find it interesting that Johnny ended singing where he started with Gospel goes to show you what else he held near his heart God. The world misses the man in black

  • His heart was broken. But he and June are strolling heaven together again!!

  • That got a tear in my eye. It truly shows how much he loves June.

  • what year was this?

  • @daandedeen 2003

  • love this have it in my computoe in favotites Johnny is GOD

  • I haven't cried in 5 years and this brought me closer to it than anything in that time..

  • @munkiman23 you got right..I don't stop thinking about the greatness of his heart...

  • This is a difficult video to watch as you see the love weeping out of Johnny as he remembers June Carter. I am a new Cash fan in 2010, but I teared up watching this.

  • What guitar is he playing there?

  • Wish you didn't have to leave us Johnny, we will love you forever. You impacted our lifes profoundly.

@custard3333 Forreal, shut up you morons! Hes obviously hurt deeply by the loss of June, they were one of the few couples in history who TRUELY loved eachother.

    R.I.P J.R.

  • you can hear him die inside when he talkes about her

    Rest in Peace Johnny Cash

  • id be sitting there enjoying every moment and yet people keep moving around show some respect for john i love your music john RESPECT still had it here his voice too and he pours his heart and soul into this very beautifull performance thankyou John.

  • he'll never be forgotten

    we all love you johnny

  • The people backing him are so good. It's sad to hear him talking about missing June. I guess with all his music, life meant nothing without June at his side. The sadness in his voice, one wonders how he managed to survive even just 5 months with out her. RIP John and June, thanks for the music and humanity you showed us all.

  • 4 months

  • what is the song called?

  • I believe the song is Angel Band.

  • Heartbreaking to watch him pour his heart out like that... he pretty much died of a broken heart.

    RIP Johnny & June (L)

  • What is (L)?

  • if you do (L) on msn you get a heart emoticon, thats what it is

  • Ok, well this is youtube not MSN.

  • @pittresident

    retard

  • I can imagine this scene in his country home when he was growing up....Johnny was doing what he loved to do for the people he loved to do it for...his family, his friends and his fans.

  • It's heartbreaking to see the man in black just broken like this. His soul was gone, and his body didn't stick around long after that.

  • what a poor guy, he really missed her. :( he's with her again now though x

  • Johnny Cash was an awesome HUMAN BEING....He missed June so much when she passed. Those of us who LOVE HIM, miss him and June. I just wrote a long comment to the jerk myself but deleted it. Not worth anyone's time.

  • I LOVE YOU JOHNNY&JUNE

  • this is just heartbreaking to see...I LOVE YOU JOHNNY!!!!

Hope you and June are happy togheter now...

  • poor man was pouring his heart out. thanks for living your life johnny and thanks for making music.

  • why do people have to do things like "WE LOVE YOU JOHNNY"

let that man speek about his wife he lost

  • his wife had just died u jerk. that comment was not needed

  • John R Cash, Sir you invented music, and thank god for that

  • jlabomb, thank you for posting this. I personally met Mr. Cash in 1997. He was an awesome gentleman. It's amazin how much he aged jut 6 yrs. later....RIP JOHNNY!

  • it's the first time i'm able to watch it until part 2 .. rip man in black.

  • Poor Johnny is pouring his heart out and some idiots are shouting and talking and wandering around. They need to learn respect.

    RIP Johnny, we love you.

  • agreed...you`re so true

  • Some people are just plain rude and completely ignorant my friend, never fails to amaze me.

  • @custard3333 amen and june dont forget her

  • @custard3333 Took the words right out of my mouth....AMEN!

  • @custard3333 are those youngsters playing with him of the carter clan

  • I Knew He Had really Missed Her But I Had No Idea, Wow

  • he is so fucking good

  • RIP Johnny. He was true country, not that shit they play today.

  • Agreed

  • @Harbinger1171991

Cash was not just true country, he was true music; in every essence.

  • @Lanceshaver Wesome post! The Man in Black was truly an artist, and will truly be missed.

  • dont exploit the MAN i love cash, tis video should have beenleft for his family and closer friends, go rockabilly john fuck the rest of you rick rueben included

  • you vile person, how could you say that, johnny cash was a legend , what are you??? a nobody, prick

  • I can hardly bear to watch this, it's so heartbreaking.

  • what a man!

  • I'm gonna cry..

  • respect

  • The love of John and June Cash is what legends are made of. They were two truly unique people who were fortunate enough to find each other and have 40 years together. His pain in her death is so clearly evident in this video and performance. He truly lost his reason for living when he lost her. Rest in peace June and John!

  • It is so wonderful to hear a man talk like that about his mate and how much he misses her. Clearly June and Johnny were very special people and had a very unique love. Its clear he was absolutely lost without her. I think every woman would love to think her husband would speak so reverantly after she was gone.

  • if this doesn't bring a tear to your eye, you don't have a heart or a soul. the fact that the bitchers would choose a sacred place like johnny cash's last performance to have their little spats is beyond shameful. rest in peace johnny, you've gotten me through many a day. i love you.

  • by performance two, just hearing his weak frail voice and it just made me collapse and breakdown

  • listen, can u too atleast take it outside th johnny cash final performane two comment box u too pussy, show a little respect for the late John R Cash

  • johnny cash the legend.

  • he is dead to you stupid shit

  • Go fuck your father, faggot (now that this conversation has been taken to the gutter).

    Love,

    Jacob.

  • PS, ATS12019, if you're going to call me "stupid", learn how to use "too", "to" and "two" correctly. I think you meant to say "He is dead, TOO".

The illiterate fuck calls me stupid. LOL.

  • Both of you need to stop fighting on the internet, and listen to Johnny Cash.

  • you sir, are correct.

  • Why would you type such a comment? That was totally unnecessary and i cringe at your disrespect. Such ugly opinions are better left unspoken.

  • What comment? I dont even remember what it was.

Also, you might want to wonder (about yourself) why one would "Cringe" at something said on a message board by someone you will never meet (me).

Thanks for your feedback, I will take it to heart (you believe that, right? LOL).

  • his son was there!?

  • I'm 71 just about everyone who ever meant anything to me is gone..Death aint fair.

  • I'm 71 just about everyone who ever meant anything to me is gone..Death aint fair.

  • Johnny Cash used to come to Waterloo,Iowa on occassion..sometimes he got to drunk to come on stage, and other times he made it no one ever knew what to expect...But they sure liked him.. I thought he looked awful skinny and sick back then. about 1961

  • God bless you J.C., you're in a better place now.

  • I had a chance to see him live and you knew he was a gift to the world.

  • Look closely people: thru the pain and loss and sorrow: THERE IS HEROIC LOVE shining thru here, ... and FAITH to see the beloved once again. Where? does that faith reside? in our health? in our strength? in ourselves? No. In Jesus and His mercy and His faithful promises. no Jesus: no peace. Know Jesus: know peace

that looks beyond the vail of tears.

This is a beautiful video, ... no less than Johnny's "Hurt."

  • great comments,

  • um ok u didn't have to take it that far

  • No, but it doesn't mean it is not true.

  • Thank you so much for the video. I'm truly touched and inspired by Johnny Cash. Is there any way we can buy a copy of these performances?

  • I struggled watching that! :(

    I miss johnny so much

As does or should the whole music industry. That guy walking aroung should be kicked in the stones...F***IN hard!

    Love you JC

    RIP the man in black

  • johnny was the best, good comments, best of every thing to you

  • :'-(

  • I couldn't actually finish watching that, I felt my eyes well up! It's just so heartbreaking, seeing the legendary Johnny Cash like that, a frail, ill old man, devastated over losing June after 40 years! I though the "Hurt" music video was powerful, but this was just horrible. God rest the Man in Black

  • I understand... my eyes welled up, but I finished watching it.

  • This video made me cry. god damn.

  • I've never really been a Johnny Cash fan but watching this was very touching. He had a heart of gold. God Bless you Johnny, sleep tight....

  • im a grown ass man and i have tears in my eyes

  • God Bless them Both...Their Souls are together I am sure!

  • :'( <333<333

  • A Legend!

But I shouldn't have watch this.

    Made me sad

  • who ever the fuck is talking and yelling and walking should be shot in the fucking head, look how fucking miserable he looks

  • Should be a private video?? What the hell are you talking about???

If Johnny Cash had wanted these sentiments to be private, I imagine he wouldn't have announced them to a crowd of presumably hundreds of people.

    Get real....

  • Yeah this should have been private video....

:) long live johnny Cash such a very... well words cannot describe how amazing he really is

  • this seriously almost brought a tear to my eye

and i almost want to track some of those ppl down and beat them up for being so disrespectful.

long live the man in black

  • Bless you june and johnny, may you both rest in peace, and if I ever find love like yours then I shall be so lucky!

  • Poor Johhny. Never Seen This It Really Changes A Lot. What A Strong Strong Guy. Respects Big Guy.

  • This should have remained a private home video. Nevertheless I was deeply touched! Just putting himself out there....all respect to the man in black!

  • i agree this should have been for family ony

  • I think this should have remained a private home video

  • That pisses me off. Johnny is having a heart to heart with the audience and there are people getting up, walking in front of him, people are screaming and talking. I mean..come on..its Johnny Cash. Give the Man In Black some respect.

  • Touching.... Greetings from Sweden.

  • Thank you for posting this excellent vid.

    It´s really touching.

    Greetings from Argentina.

  • It's a shame really, I wish I could have seen him just once. It's incredibly sad

  • It was so hard not to cry

  • i envy the love they had for eachother 2 beautiful singers in heaven

  • I am crying right now watching this...

  • me too

  • Amazeing Just amazeing. I just wish the crowd was a bit more respectful there not really treating it as much. If i was there i would have tears in my eyes at the end of the show i would take a bow go up to him shake his hand and say thank you for your music your songs have inspired people all around the world, i have tears in my eyes whilst i write this. • so toutching.

    rip Johnny and June

  • god these people are impolite sometimes

  • Johnny, I would have given a leg and 3 fingers to be there for you to hear you sing one last time, and I hate myself for not, but geez, those people act like it's nothing

  • , I would have sat there with my jaw dropped till the end, then I would have walked up to you, drop and bow down to you, never a more inspiring thing, you inspired me to be a musician as well as a human, thank you Johnny, God bless you, and I know your trip to Jordon was an easy one with June waiting for you, Your music's in my heart man, rock on!
