  • who was the voice of mr magoo?

  • Pretty apt political satire! I guess nothing much has changed since 1960. Amazing that this was made for children- imagine how parents would react today if they saw missiles and political corruption in their kid's cartoons, eeek! Great art too.

  • E' possibile avere la traduzione in italiano?

  • who caught the japan on the radar 1:14 if so thumbs up

  • what the name of this episode???

  • @christopheredwardjva It is called "Magoo's Jackpot" and was first aired on December 05, 1960 (Show #6). One web site describes the 1961 Mr Magoo cartoon "Lost Vegas" (from Show #17) with the same story line, but it includes Waldo -- /watch?v=lPMSRGmMKqk

I hope the earlier theatrical UPA Mr Magoo cartoons will be reissued on DVD or Blu-Ray soon...

  • Yeeeeeees!!! It's Frank Nelson ans Mr. Forthright!

  • where is lovely

  • Are there any technogeeks out there who know what, if anything the holes on the punchcard at 4:22 spell out? This card shows 10 characters, not including spaces. (I think normal punchcards could show up to about 50 characters). If the animators were clever, and many were back then, they could have spelled something out in binary code on this card. It looks like they were careful to keep the columns straight, so I suspect they might have tried to spell something . I'm not kidding.

  • @cmans79tr7 I probably still have a college computing textbook in storage. If and when I find it, I'll try to figure out what was on that card.

  • @zekepig - Thanks, but I researched on the 'net and found that the punchcard shown in the cartoon 2:16 is close, but no cigar. The punchcard obviously would be letters or numbers, and it is the first two rows that deliniate this, so every column would have to have either the first or second row punched, and this is not the case with the cartoon card. I'm disappointed they didn't try to sneak something in there, but I guess drawing cartoons is tough enough.

  • 3 Lemons!!! LOL great cartoon Go Magoo!

  • Love Magoo!

  • the actor's instincts seem right. I found this movie @ Movie Watcher [.] US

  • The DVD set restores almost everything. No DVNR and no sign of film scratches. Well done, Classic Media. Long live Magoo!

  • Yes!

  • Forthright is played by Frank Nelson.

  • That was one of my favorite Magoo shorts!

Could you please get some more up? I have a few suggestions. Could you please put up the episodes The Millionaire, Night Club Magoo, Tree's a Crowd, and Magoo's TV Set? I'd love to see those because they were also great Mr. Magoo classics! In my opinion anyway.

  • ha ha ha ha gud one lol

  • Oh! This is american. I wondered why i had never heard of him.

  • Can't beat the classics, better than today's gay stuff! Either I'm having problems with my vision too, or did that ticket really have IBM printed on it? Did they exist back then when this was made or has itz been edited?

  • IBM, because he reads it as IOU.

  • IBM has been around since the first computers, he was holding a punch card which was used to give instructions to the computer. basically a program on card.

  • @CoolDudeClem (and for you out there who were born after 1980...) - That is not a "ticket" with IBM on it. It is commonly called a "punch card". Back in the 50's-60's-70's, there basically was no such thing as "on-line" as we know it. Computers ran programs via magnetic tape with binary code on it that came from reading suitcases full (or sometimes dumpsters full) of these cards that had holes punched in by typists using desk-sized typewriter-thingies, transcribing from program-line documents.

  • A close look at the G-20 Summit reveals a radical change in our world to a "global economic structure". Could this set the stage for a one-world economy that the Antichrist will rule over (Revelation 13:16-17 & Revelation 18) in the last days?
