  • I have to

Hand it to the judges! I could never judge a class like this in a million years!!

  • is he for sale again?

  • I LOVE THIS HORSE! CALVIN IS AMAZING!! MY FRIEND OWNS HIM

  • @Barnchild2132 Yeah Rebecca? I'm the one she bought him from. This is me at congress in 2008 I believe. I loved having him. He really is an amazing horse

  • @ DressageFreak and yea the horse may be behaving for the rider, but they arent moving or showing the way they should be because without learning from a trainer they have no clue what a good show horse should look like. So for you to say that those people who show with a trainer aren't hard working or knowledgeable riders is extremely ignorant. I'm sorry but the way you think things should be isnt the only way so seriously quit acting like you know what we should be doing. you dont

  • @ DressageFreak wherever i take him. (btw....4th at congress in EQU on that one...so yea maybe my equ does suck..ha yea right) And I have shown at large open shows...easiest win of my life....having a horse with a trainer keeps the horse working well while you learn how to do the same. then once you can ride the horse the way the trainer has it working, then you can take it out. I have seen a lot of people keep their horses out of training and just go to a "trainer" when they have issues

  • @ DressageFreak ok I hate to burst YOUR bubble but you have no idea what kind of work it took to get reserve at the congress or top ten at the world. or to place second in the nation btw. Yes my horse was at a trainer but that was because i was in school and i still rode once or twice a week for several hours and rode a ton at shows. I do more with my horse at a show than my trainer does with him. I also have an all arounder with me at home that I do all the training on, and he wins

  • umm... where's everyone eq gone? lol. everyone is sitting hard on the saddle, to far back, hands and arms constantly moving, handles basically on the lap, hands are palms down instead of thumbs facing up.....then there is a slow none forward walk, horses loping instead of actually cantering forwardly using their hind end, no contact on the reins and horses are heavy on the forehand

since when is this hunter? XD

  • @DressageFreak it doesn't matter about eq ! its judge on the horse and she had him looking incredible .

  • @qhchamp85 so you would rather have people laughing at you and feeling sorry the horse is being ridden by someone who can't even look decent on a horse? i'm sorry but if i had a nice horse i couldn't ride, i'd want someone who not only rode my horse great, but looked the part as well. just because your not being judged doesn't mean you shouldn't care what you look like ;)

  • @DressageFreak um sweeet heart she has very nice eq .

im soory your used to stupid little jumper horses and dressage horses that look absolutley STUPID with their heads up in the air .

WE RIDE DIFFERENT THAN YOU PEOPLE DO !

our heels aren't down because we have to cue or horse with our spurs and keep him going and moving out nicely . alright ?

they have to get there horses heads down no, shit they would be moving their hands . instead of sayin crap about a class JUGDED ON THE HORSE watch

  • @qhchamp85 i have never heard of anyone (this goes for english and western riders) using their hands like that to get their head down. i would have thought a trainer/coach would teach their students to use leg to push the horse onto the bit. and again, who in there right mind would teach bringing your heels up to sue spurs? lol your suppose to turn your toe out ^^

  • @DressageFreak youuuuuuu lift your heel up to collect your horse up and make them come underneath themself

  • @qhchamp85 omg lol, who in their right mind would tell you that? one of the very first things you learn is always heels down. need to spur, toe out and use leg. even at the barn i ride at (all western) they never bring their heels up.

  • @DressageFreak ummm World class trainers thats who .

Welll thats YOUUUR trainer and obviously you haven't won world or congress, So I dont know why you would listen HAHAHAHAHA .

  • @qhchamp85 maybe in the qh world i guess they teach that silly thing. hate to break it to you though, qh worlds and congress horses are awesome, but the riders normally just send their horses away to be trained instead of doing the hard work themselves lol. worlds and congress mean nothing about a rider. go to a open show to compete against everyone is where you really see where you are at riding wise.

  • @qhchamp85 and sorry to burst your bubble but i dont have a trainer. i believe in riding your own horse and working together with a riding coach when u have issues, but i would never let anyone else on my horse. you dont become a better rider having other people work through your training issues. read anywhere tho and you will see everyone says heels down lol.

  • @DressageFreak and thats exactly why you'll never go anywheere with your horses . (:

  • @qhchamp85 not to be rude, but like i said earlier the first breed show i went to i came out with 4 separate high points. i dont take the easy way. getting someone else to train your horse takes care of the difficulty for you, else there wouldn't be a need for trainers. anyone can sit on a professionally trained horse and win in the qh horse world. i have seen it quite a few times in the qh world. people would only place if their trainers were there. how sad.

  • @qhchamp85 my gelding has competed very successfully in the hunter/dressage world and some western with our own training schedual. we take lessons but no one is allowed on my horse. just because you win doesn't mean your a good rider though. now if you can train your horse and through that training you compete sucessfully only then can you call yourself a good rider.

  • @DressageFreak sorrry to tell you but my horse is a three time state champion and ive TRAINED HIM MYSELF !

but that doesnt mean you cant have other people get on him

if you compete in hunters and dressage

then dont come on a HUNTER UNDER SADDLE video acting like you know what your talking about because you dont even ride this style.

and obviously your not a very good rider because you have NO VIDEOS and if your such a good competitior you would put videos up . HA !

  • @qhchamp85 if you train your own horse then why do u have a trainer. and you said before people who dont ahve trainers dont get anywhere with there horse lol. and i ahve already told u i have rode this style before and won. i dont show qh often because i dont like it. simple as that. but we win when we do. hunter and hunter undersaddle are the same thing . hunter is just generalizing it. because i dont post my own videos does not make me a bad rider lol. i prefer facebook.

  • @DressageFreak ok you really need to shut up. idk if you read the 3 comments i posted above to you but you sound stupid. PS winning an open show in the quarter horse world (QHCHAMP85 AND I'S WORLD) is nothing. its not even hard to do. And we send our horses to trainers because even the best riders could use help and advice. No body knows it all. So seriously stop acting like you know everything because you really dont. If you told anyone in our industry what youre sayin you'de be laughed at.

  • @roxy9635 not to be rude, but when i say open show i dont mean those little schooling shows and ones just anyone can go in. i mean shows that arn't breed based where the comp is limited. when u can compete against other breeds and win then your getting somewhere.

  • @DressageFreak well considering our discipline doesn't go outside a breed association show, and quarter horses are probably the best at our discipline (pleasure not jumps), you can't really say that's the only way to prove we're gettin somewhere.

  • @roxy9635 hunter classes are everywhere. this is "suppose" to be a hunter flat class, not a pleasure class. hence why i'm saying go to other shows to see where your actually at.

  • @DressageFreak In our world it's an english pleasure class. The judges are lookin for it to be a hunter flat class. Just because it isnt called "english pleasure" doesnt mean we have to show it like its a hunter class. So this is exactly what they want us to be doing.

  • @DressageFreak HI ive noticed that you ripped on most quarter horse Hunter under saddle Videos and I wanted to say that if you have a problem with it then don't watch quarter horse video and start a debate the way we do things probably wont change for a while.

  • @qhchamp85 i dont see my neighbour posting videos of her grand prix horse -who she trained all by herself i may add, and she is a fantastic rider. unfortunately due to her weight issue thats the only reason she is unable to show internationally in the dressage world. people have given her their horses to show for them and increase there value by the thousands. she has always done her work herself.

  • @DressageFreak hahahahahahahahahah.

Keeep talking you just keeping sounding more stupid bahahahah

  • @DressageFreak go and watch an aqha eq class ! and no her horse is extremley light on the forehand and if you knew what you were talking about you would have noticed that . and thats the whole damn point of having loose contact to make your horses look easy to ride and well trained . sooo just be quiet because you dont know what your talkinnng about when it comes to quarter horses:)

  • @qhchamp85 not to be rude but i also have a quarter horse and took him to a few breed shows. our first show we took home 2 high points as well as 3rd overall. as a matter of fact isn't it odd that i ride at a western barn? i never said her horse was heavy on the forehand, i was simply making a general statement. like i said earlier, it shouldn't matter if its being judged on the horse, you should still look the part :D

  • Calvins been great i luv him sooo much =)

  • sorry i had to put the comments in two..and i meant that arabians dont JUST do saddle seat

  • becasue I know thats not true. Second all arabians dont do saddle seat! My arab is a western pleasure horse ans I have four beating quarter horses pass me in classes. Also some arab people dont like Qh..and thats not right either just to judge a breed...I would have to say, I would like to c some of the quarter horses in the bigger shows to have a more natural lope..but i still love a nice quarter horse.

  • Pretty horse. I have an artful move gelding as well...dapple grey..hes awesome. To the people fighting over arabs and Qh's..well I have both. You dont just gallop around on arabians....it is SO much more than that...just like im sure u dont like it when people say u just sit there in western pleasure...

  • Thanks! I love him. He's great

  • Really really pretty! I have an Artful Move too

  • gah!!!!!!!!!! U pple are riding horses not ostriges get their frikin heads outta the sand!!!!! and they are so slow they almost look robotic!! it looks retarded..............and dont even get me started on western pleasure!!!!!!!!!... sorry not meaning to be offensive or anything but it just irks how they make quarter horses move. i guess im just a bit of an arab snob lol

  • First of all, their heads are no where close to the sand. Second of all, the way we ride is refined, if anything, I'd say the way people carelessly ride around at the Arabian Nationals, a supposed "competitive" show, their horses run around crazy like ostriges. Third, why are you watching QH videos if you don't like the way we make them move?

  • Hello, How much? ware are you located?

  • Please email me with price and details on this gelding. Thank you.

  • 17.3 hand 2004 sorrell gelding by artful move.
