  • Wow, not an illegal alien in sight. Those were the days!

  • Burger King - Because grilled tastes better than microwaved!

  • 0:21 the black guy had a millisecond to show his prize.LOL

  • Louis got peelz with his meal, thus his exclamation of victory

  • i fffuckin won a meal!!!!

  • I miss the old Burger King logo.

  • HEY PHUCHUE2 , PHUCH OFF, no one is forcing you too!! ASS MUNCH!!

  • Didn't she act on the A-Team?

  • in those days it was real food. no way in hell I would eat Burger Crap food now

  • Why not wear throw back uniforms like pro sports. Maybe for anniversary years.

  • Is it just me or was the Whopper actually bigger than it is now? I swear it actually lived up to its name back in the day, it was truly a WHOPPER!

  • Fake, black people never win anything

  • that nigga won , so deseggreation ended in the 70s

  • Back them fast food was heaven! Today Burger King, McDonald's & Wendy's are Hell! But they take your money for a terrible burger.

  • Back then there was quality, it took a nit longer cause they actually cooked patty. Plus back then a Whopper, fries, and a Coke cost less than a dollar.

  • Oh wow. I won a fucking whopper, now I can retire and move to Florida.

  • Where is the meat on the Whopper?

  • The guy at 0:04 sounds like John Candy!

  • i wish all these damn fast food joints would serve the original french fries! only place that does that is mcdonalds!

  • HE WON THE MOTHERFUCKING WHOPPER PRIZE

  • That gal was pretty cute I bet she is a Sr. Citizen now with a crew full of grandkids, and maybe a few great grandkids.

And did you all get a load of the size of that Coke? It was tiny compared to what they have now.

    Things sure have changed.

  • why in the fuck iam watching old burger king commercials

  • Yeah, that size they show there is now "kiddie". Come to think of it, why IS it that they push such huge portions on us? If people back then could be content with the "kiddie" sizes we have now, then we probably would have kept right on eating small portions if not for them offering huger and huger ones.

  • @LenaAndreia Larger portions mean more profit margin. Soda and fries are cheap. When you "value-size" for 69 cents, you just gave them about 40 cents of pure profit. Make fat people, make fat cash.

  • I love Burger king!

  • They shrunk the whopper at some point. It was bigger and better in the 80's.

  • its a shame how this country turned into total garbage...

  • 1978--NICE!!! This ad probably came on Channel 11 on October 2, 1978 after Bucky hit the homer that fucked the DEAD-sox up for good. (Reggie's finished 'em!) But, 3 things I wanna know about The Whopper & Burger King:

1)-- When did Burger King introduce the Double Whopper & Tripple Whopper, respectively? I know I saw the double one for sale by the early-90's.

2)-- When will they bring that CLASSIC logo (0:27) back?

3)-- What the fuck did they say at the end of this 1978 spot (0:28)?!

  • @BrooklynEagle They say "The one and only Whopper...Burger King and I!"

  • Does anyone know- was there ever a trademark violation between Burger King's Whopper and Hershey's malted milk balls called Whoppers?

  • now thet only have APPLE fries

  • Another vote for those uniforms.

  • Last time my wife and I ate Whopper Wednesdays here in Canada we were fighting over the toilet afterwards

  • @fuhrman66 maybe you had a bad whopper then !

  • They could have at least cooked the patty @ 0:22. That thing is frozen.

  • that hamburger is NOT frozen! Its cooked.

  • I WON!!!

  • Isn't that the girl from the A-Team?

  • lol thats sucks for them games these days give you 1million dollars

  • @thugzmansion1o1 Yeah, but does anyone ever win the million? lol

  • @Sunshyne276 Ture but its like playing the lottery you cant win if you dont play, slim chance but you have a chance. Plus even if you get a winning ticket you dont officially win your place in a drawing to win. (-.-)

  • The best darn microwaved burgers in the ......bla bla bla

They forgot to throw in that part.

  • 0:07-0:09 Check out the guy in the left (in the green jacket). His facial expression is hilarious! Also, at the end of this clip, he's still in surprised mode. hahahaha

  • Never ate from this place, but it looks fun!

  • token black guy

  • ohhhhhhhhh yeahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, drink at eat and the you will get FATTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT

  • why the hell did those hairstyles go away! i still have mine!

  • MMM I LOVE Whoppers from Burger King, hold the onions add the cheese. But I don't eat there as much as I used to. Maybe once every two months. Have yu ever saw Super Size Me? You need to rent it, It shows this man that ate McDonalds super size meals for a month, He gained eighteen pounds and his cholesterol and blood pressure were sky high, he almost went into liver failure. Toward the end he felt like he was having a heart attack. After seeing this I bet I won't eat fast food much.

  • @Sheri451

I love a tasty Whopper myself--extra onions & mayo, but yeah, it's all about moderation. I think it's okay to have a treat like that occasionally to sometimes, but definitely not on a constant basis. I saw Morgan Spurlock's doc, and it was revealing, but in the end, I found it a bit silly. I'd think the majority of folks don't eat McDonald's three times a day EVERY day. Spurlock was just courting disaster, LOL.

  • the 1970s rocked.

  • the portions of fries and soda is ten times the size now compared to back then. back then the large coke is today's small or water.

  • wow that was weird

  • theyre called Hungry Jacks in Australia and i reckon they shit all over McDognuts

  • people were quite ugly in the 70's......

  • Yes, your parents were also. LOL

  • I won!

  • I won!! Classic.

  • I won... lol

  • burger king and I!!! classic!!

  • I WON! lmao xD

  • lol the guy lifts up the tray 'i won!'

  • white people who speak english ,working at burger king? WTF

  • I mush prefer these BK ads to the ones airing now with that bumbling fuckstain for a dad and definitely better than the stupid "I LOOOVE THIS PLACE!" ads with Dan Cortese or whatever the fuck his name was.

  • I remember that Burger King scratch off. I was 9 years old in 1978. Ive won a few times, but never won a whopper or a whole meal. Just a free fries or free soda.

  • That Burger King employee is Melinda Culea from "The A-Team".

  • seriously I think tha uniforms back then is way betta than tha uniforms now.

  • I see that racism still excists in the millenium! Guess things will never change!

  • man, this makes me want to go back to the 70s-80s when things were fun

  • I remember those uniforms from back then! They were kind of goofy but, when you saw some one wearing one, you knew instantly where they worked. The newer ones just don't have the same brand recognition as the older ones.

  • 0:00 o i won a coke i won some fries hay i won the whopper pries

  • those are some ugly ass uniforms

  • Ugly, but it's what's inside that counts. Beef. Cheese, Tomatoes. Yeah babY!

  • those were the days when a flamed broiled burger tasted like a flamed broiled burger

  • burger KING 2009 SUCKS

  • hahaha

  • Oh, God It's Burger King's The Whopper!

  • oh why don't we have commercials now that have people singing?! gawd the older commercials are more entertaining than the newer ones!!

    gimme a time machine...NOW PLEASE!!!

  • @autoamerican79 Agree, and I recognize your name (excellent Blondie album). Yeah, I know, dating myself here.

  • Burger King should make all of their employees wear those uniforms again, Ha,Ha,Ha,!!!!!!

  • @toddz1972 UGH, it was bad enough that anyone had to wear them at any time, including myself! Polyester Hell I tell ya, lol.

  • @toddz1972 Those colors are truly heinous!

  • @toddz1972 they were 100% polyester, too.. my god, it must have been like wearing a couch cushion

  • I don't remember the commercial but I do know that uniform. I word it for about 5 years. When the grease got on the yellow part, it stained it and made black spots that would not come out in the wash. Honest!

  • lol, the way she says "I want some fries!" is hilarious, its so high pitched.

  • Why are they always singing in commercials...In the 70s

  • god...the people who model the burgers to look like that should be the ones making the burgers

  • hey i went and they dont have this at burger king. wtc?

  • Maybe because this commercial is from 1978

  • Lol yeah i know. wow 30 years ago...

  • SIGHS!

  • anyone notice that a small size fries now was a regular size back then? no wonder why us americans got fat in 30 yrs. bigger portions

  • @mokos23 I don't think that's even our "small size" anymore. That' s like... Kiddie. Yeah, it's a shame they had to increase the servings so much. I order kid's meals from these places now just to control the portion. Those are a pretty decent sized meal on their own.

  • @mokos23 True, and what's funny is most people would swear that the portions at fast food places are actually getting smaller!

  • @mokos23 yum

  • @mokos23 yeah and people now eat double and tripple whoppers. if you had a whopper with a handful of fries and a small soda(16oz), things wouldn't be so bad. But like you said, now they have a super size everything. It's amazing.

  • @jthornton17

I thought they made everything smaller and more expensive?

  • @mokos23 i wish everyone watching these fast food commercials would get the fuck off of thier soap box and realize that no one was forced to eat more or super size anything and no one is forced to eat every fucking morsel on their plate , youre like one of the people who want to sue/blame mcdonalds , anyone could have easily said 'no ill take a smaller order of fries' but went for the larger one........

  • I'm glad im not wearing THAT uniform

  • I'm glad that she IS wearing that uniform.

  • BURGER KING AND I!!!

  • Yes. Yes there was.

  • Wasn't there a Burger King commercial from the 1970's with a jingle that weent "Hold the pickle, hold the lettuce..."?

  • yea, then In the late 70s they changed it, but I sure do miss the old bun halve logo though ha
