Albedo means to turn things to white- in science theres the 'albedo effect' which is the reflection of white light. Albenism when people are born are albinos and stuff. :P which is what Albedo is. ^^

Nigredo is the reflecion of black light, Rubedo, the reflection of red light and Citrine the reflection of yellow light. In the name sense at least, which should explain the hair colour and stuff. :P

his name is not albedo it is alubedo or thats the orignal name in the japanese version but it still means the same i think

It's because the L is difficult to pronounce in Japanese. The U is added to certain words and names. His name is still Albedo. But the u is added just for pronunciation.

your somewhat right it was at first never going to become albed but translation changed it i am a true xenosaga freak i have 3 version of number 3 : english verion,international, and the difinitive japanese version it has more stuff you can get even new spells
