It's like the grade 2's & the grade 4's having it out in the school yard. This protest was a result of thousands of dollars of vandalism to construction vehicles parked at the site. I don't blame the workers for being emotionally charged. I think one on one you would realize they are humans too. At the end of the day the interchange will be built. As a taxpayer I hope these incidents don't drive up the costs

because taxpayers money is a precious resource.

Remember, there has been NO evidence of the vandalism. They were all claims. Even still, with the thousands of people who actively oppose this development, one person who chose to vandalize should not warrant all protestors deserving of intimidation and violence. This is not about taxpayers dollars either. Private developers were given a huge financial break from the province to complete. That's what you should be opposing - those are your taxpayer's dollars funding private profits.
