  • Too bad Strasburg can't do the work. They'd have it done in about 4 months.......

  • I agree with you there.

    Len.

  • Also agreed=D

  • Great shots Len but...why does the 2317 look a bit...dirty?

  • Well don't worry 261 is not in a museum yet, there are a lot of people praying and fighting to keep her running.

  • Dude you were there that day? I was there too!

  • I was ther for a mini workday for Project 565 . so I was there all day, from 8am to 7pm. then three and a half hour drive home.

    Len.

  • I was there from 10 to 6, that place is great, despite a nice and confusing drive home in the night.

  • i'll miss her to!!!!!!!!!

  • I'll miss 2317.

  • She's going in for a 15 year rebuild too! Man it seems like every locomotive I know is going in for a 15 year rebuild. She sure is a beauty though and on a lighter note at least the engineer doesn't have to go far for a light on that cigar. lol. Just kidding! Great shot Len, great shooting!

  • i thought it was going to be 4-5 years =(

  • i thought that whistle sounded close when i was swicing parts, it was just on the other side of the wall!

i take it the shot of 3254 is from saturday?

  • Yes both locomotives were working this past Saturday the 28th.

    Len.
