  • I was there!, in 1st line :D

    Greetings from Chile

  • i loooooooooooooooooove his voice ♥ ♥

  • 01:33 : ,,I'm your God''.

  • toooooo fast!

  • :D

  • MP with a small drum kit????????? I don't believe it!!!

  • Guitar here sounds different, but in a good way. I like it :)

  • Why isn't JP using the 12 string double neck from Live At Budakan and Score?

  • Where's the double neck :(

  • Perfect..

  • awesome improvised solo

  • Is it me or does the song sound like a rip-off of Peter Gabriel's "Solsbury Hill" .

  • @guycornwall Actually it's quite obvious that this is pretty much "Solsbury Hill" with a pop chorus. Hell, even the titles sound the same! "Solsbury Hill" "Solitary Shell" say them consecutively. They're purposely similar. It's more of a tribute than ripping off Peter Gabriel.

  • petrucci was having problems with his gear, he cant play the solo with clean signal...

he improved all the solo, BTW awesome solo...

  • even if this song is one of the simplest dream theater's songs, it is more complex than the most complex's pop songs...

  • @vaxkors95 It's far from being one of the simplest, drums are sooo fuckin hard, piano is quite challenging, and I think guitar solo isn't easy...

  • lol Petrucci can't hear himself in the mix.... never seen him look so pist

  • verry good

  • who's petrucci talking to?

  • @moterhead7 he talking to the sound enginneer

  • @moterhead7 he said "i'm your god" to monitor man.

  • @moterhead7 he's giving out that the levels in his monitor arent right. I think he was saying that he needed to be turned up. He didnt look very happy haha

  • once again editor seems to fucking despise jordan rudess barely showing anything of him fucking dicks

  • @Norocmorth Rudess is notoriously missing from most videos lol. They even mention it in the commentary once XD. "Oh wait.. no a little bit farther, There you are Rudess!"

  • @MrLukeySan What DVD is that commentary on because the only ones that have commentary are Live in Tokyo and 5 Years in a Livetime and Rudess wasn't in the band at the time. unless there's commentary on Metropolis 2000(I haven't got this one yet).

  • does the intro to this song make anyone else think of an island adventure?

  • They played it too fast lol, but still Mike look like he's chill and mellow.

    1:31 - "I'm your God"

  • @MrLukeySan Every Rock/Metal band seems to play everything at least a little bit faster live.

  • It's so funny how Mike's chewing a gum while playing so chilled out

  • The audience audio was edited

  • Anyone else feeling the Rainbow Road track from Mario Kart 64 here? Such an awe inspiring song.

  • @MyEggIsBoiled tottaly get u there lol

  • @MyEggIsBoiled hahahahah it's the same sound jejeje. Best from Chile!

  • A homage to all autists =D

  • its so...... beautiful :')

  • 4:24 - 4:26 badass John Petrucci pick skills

  • nice performance of labrie. for once.

  • good composed song

  • It's way too fast...

  • son entero aweonaos para grabar el concierto, cuando deben enfocar a petrucci por ejemplo cuando esta haciendo un solo, enfocan a portnoy, o cuando es jordan el que hace un solo, enfocan a petrucci, son mas weones

  • the lights missed a beat at the start!

  • 0:15 "Let's see them hands everybaow!" WTF?

  • @XfpsDeathAdder haha too funny

  • @XfpsDeathAdder hahahahahha

  • Jordan is bigpower !!

  • Que ganas de haber estado ahí =)

  • The best thing about john petrucci's solo is that it's all improvised. That's the jazzy side of DT not many people can see :P

  • haha Portnoy is chewing gum lol... or tobacco. I love to chew when i drum too :P

  • 3:33 is just super fantastic!

  • 4:24 when John petrucci switches the pick between his finger OMG

  • malo ke se kieren a estos tipos aka en chile y estos ni nos peskan

  • ruddess is a wizard,

i don't care what anyone says.

  • no, you can see Petrucci still playing the guitar with that specific sound effect.. seems like, its something Rudess added for the sake of that concert.

  • OMG the setlist is just huge, must have been a couple of hours.

  • well they did play 2 songs... haha

  • he made a joke, dream theater is notorious for having sogns averaging about 10 minutes so since thier songs are so long he made a joke since you said it musve been a couple hours.

ipunchyouintheface, i laughed at it :)

I love dream theater, hard to find bands with actual talent these days. greatest band ever :) (thats not oppinion thats fact ;D)

  • Awesome song list!

Hope they come to Bergen, Norway soon:D

  • I'm afraid they never will go any place in Norway except Oslo:/

  • Que buen tema!! apesar de que la bateria se escucha un asco, no opaca la bellesa del sonido.

  • Such an awesome song; probably the most played off of the second disc. As an aside, I've always thought that James' best singing period outside of the '91-'94 was during the Octavarium world tour. His voice is so fluid, he's never trying to push himself too hard and letting everything come out naturally. Nowadays he seems to be trying too hard to get that grit back into his voice and he ends up either sharp or flat on alot of songs. Of course there are many exceptions but this is "overall."

  • Fuck me, that's an awesome setlist. I wish they'd play somewhere near me, so I could go.

  • 25'000 people XD

  • The setlist from this show is excellent.

  • Best Bandof the world , Best Song Ever! and We want more from them? YEESS!.. hehe.. They are a real Musicians and composers such as Mozart, Beethoven and they will be remenbered forever!

  • great audience

  • @77SystemOfaDown all bands love Chile, the audience always is great. Look for the Pantera videos in Chile... sometimes you cant hear the singer by the singing audience lol

  • wow.. what a creative and melodic song from one of the best band in the universe...

  • great song but they really rush this song live, they need to let the greatness of this song really show instead of speeding into the best song from six degrees

  • I thought Scenes From a Memory was their best album so far. I am a great fan though. BC & SL was deceiving... the lyrics were quite dull. I LOVE A Rite of Passage though

  • omg i saw em last night and this song was totally the best song of the night except for maybe the count of tuscany

  • ow!

  • i want john's ernie ball!!!!!!!

  • In my opinion Six Deegres... is once of the best albums of DT. 2nd disc is just MAJESTY!! I can't stop to listen this "music perverts" ;P

  • hey whats the sound that rudess uses at the begining? sounds really cool

  • Monophonic square wave with a little portamento

  • But if you don't have a korg oasys, square lead is what you're looking for.

  • from 1:12 up to 1:28.. that part on the keyboard.. why didn't Rudess did that on the studio version? that was really HEART-FELT. :D

  • i miss the old less metal Dream Theater. :(

  • agreed, like take the time, magical stuff.but dream theater will always pown

  • yeah, like Learning to live, change of seasons, metropolis part 1, under a glass moon, pull me under.. :(

yup, dream theater will always pwn.

  • Yeah, After Awake DT wasn't as good (except for Metropolis Pt. 2), but Octavarium was really awesome, but Black Clouds & Silver Linings is their best album in 10 years

  • what about The Count of Tuscany?

  • this concert was performed in 2005

  • I know, I was there. I'm talking about TCOT as an "After Awake DT" song.

  • i saw prog nation :) it was awesome!

  • this is amazing... as only Dream Theater can deliver :)

greatmasterofdarknes; yea you got something to look forward to, saw them live in oslo 26th of sept.

it was the best musical experience of my life! :D

  • go akon.

  • this is greatest song of DT.

  • not at all.. i think that a rite of passage is better.. anyway every dream theater's song is awesome... i can't wait to see them in rome next 27 october!

  • Lucky man, they arnt comeing to my part of the world and even if they did I have no one to go with because no one that I know likes this sort of music. :(

  • I'm sorry for you man.. you live within the barbarians of music if anybody wants to come with you to see dream theater..where do you live?

  • Bonn, Germany.

It's not that the people I know are barbarians in music, its just that none of them like this sort of thing. :(

  • Bonn! Wunderschon Bonn! Wenn ich die moglichkeith hatte, wurde ich nach Bonn fahren.. Ich viele mag Deutchland..Hast du ein msn adresse?

  • maravilloOoOoOoOsSsSoOoO

  • simplemente PERFECTO ! ^^

  • hey, what's with the sound here? kinda dry i think...and petrucci seems to have sensed some fault too...

  • petrucci aint usin the double neck, thus not the 12 string for the verse/ intro, which means no chorus effect

thats what it seems to me

  • yeah ......no double neck u.u

  • it wasnt the sound. what you mean is the audio quality (not the best)

JP was just asking the sound guy that he couldnt hear his guitar through the ear monitors

  • pulento este tema wn

  • nice song:)
