  • One of the great musicians when I was younger. Looking at this now...he resembles Chandler from friends...or is that just me?

  • The best CCM musician EVER. Still my favorite of all time even after all these years. I have everything he's ever done. If my house was burning down I'd grab his music above almost anything...well, maybe my kids first...THEN his music! I wish I could see him live again...9 times just isn't enough :)

  • Too bad this is "unplugged." I love his 80's stuff with full synthesizers and drum machines.

  • His hair is a bit distracting [!] but what a fantastic gift God gave David Meece :)

  • This was one of my favorite contemporary Christian songs of the middle 1980's. I was hoping that someone had posted the original studio version. And don't get me wrong. I am impressed by Mr. Meece's spirit filled performance. And this is my first time ever seeing David Meece sing period! I never got to see him sing on t.v. back in the 80's. And I did'nt know that he still has his music ministry. Thanks xembryo for sharing.

  • he came to my sckool today and hes having to diff concerts i cant wait for the second

  • Saw him this weekend in a tiny church in MI with <75 people, but he gave it his all (nearly broke the pedal again on this song), didn't care how big or small the crowd, and hasn't charged for tix since '95! Powerful message. Talked w/ him and he made it sound like he'd play almost anywhere just for the asking! Not out of desperation...he wants to minister to people!

  • so this is what he looked like. All those years my mom knew him, I'd never really met him before, `cept for when he came to our church, but I barely remember that :/

  • He is by far my favorite artist of all times. No one else's music touched my heart more than David Meece When my dad died when I was a teenager in the 80's his music was and is truly a blessing to me!!!!!!!!!!!

  • AWESOME!

  • Thank you Johan Sebastian Bach

for writing Invention #13 so that

David Meece could play it on

    "You Can Go"

  • I love David--so talented and what a great voice:) I saw him quite a few times with Ray Boltz in concert, great every time. The last time I saw him was 4 years ago at my church and he was just as amazing as ever:)

  • I saw David in Ottawa in the 80's. He was late by 1 and 1/2 hrs but still came and performed a complete concert

The weather was bad that night.

David was gracious and truly meant what he sung

  • DAVID MEECE IS THE BEST!!! AMAZING!!!

  • Great song, Thanks for sharing!

  • Anyone remember the song...I think it's called Over You or something. I remember the chorus says something about There is none over you, I used to love that song when I was five and we would listen to the David Meece tapes on the way to my grandparents house in California!

  • my dads name is david meece!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I got to see him in concert less than a month ago, and he was amazing. He told stories, jokes, and sang his songs. It was just him and a piano. He broke the sustaining pedal halfway through, and he played a couple songs without it, and they were still awesome!

  • if anyone find the vid to

Rainbows In The Night by David Meece... please tell me, i love that song

  • David Meece is a good singer. I haven't heard many of his songs, but so far, he sounds nice.

  • The cords at 1:08 sure do seem to be originally "Classic". He reminds me of Matthew Perry.

  • Oh, yes. Of course. Now, i remember. That is "Bach" Mr. Meece has borrowed from. Meece used his musical background well on this song.

  • Looks amazingly like Donny Osmond. But I have always liked David's music. What a surprise to find some of them here! Thank you for posting this one!

  • that doesnt look like david meece, it might though, when he came to my town i couldnt see him to well

  • It's definitely David in 1991.

  • Tks. to all for the Meece vids!!

  • How young David looks! He's still just as amazing and fun to watch and listen to. He's been my favorite artist since I was in Junior High and that was nearly 25 years ago!

  • Great song!
