I love that airport... one to my favorite sounds is hearing the wheels touching down (safely) after flying from Dubai to Atlanta(15 1/2 hours)...then Atlanta to SAN(5 hours)!!!!!
0:53 boeing 737-400 from Southwest Airlines sweet video the first one was an MD80 of american arilinesthe second one was a boeing 737-800 of i dont know
1:08 was an MD83 1:20 was a Boeing 737-800 of southwest airlines and if you dont know about planes my email is arguelloarias@gmail.com and i could teach you about airplanes.
@karthikkito smart people engineers to gain money because land is being takin up and they build where ever they can, why was the Allstate Arena in Chicago where the AHL chicago wolves, Depaul and Indoor football Rush built across from the OP'hare airport. Because it was a good area to build an arena. Even though the roof collapsed..
@MichiganFann Oh, I know. It was a joke. The point was that the airport was there first, so if you're going to question someone's intentions, you need to question those of the people who built the homes.
@doggie101171 hey retard they built the airport before they built the houses probably and if they didnt its because of the land, its a good size amount of land in a good location to build an airport.
i went to that EXACT SAME spot after i dropped my friend off at the airport about a little over a month ago. :) it was amazing to see the planes so closee :)
everybody has said that about this airport for years. well. it is the busiest single runway airport (I think) and I dont believe there has ever? been a major accident at the airport on landing or take of. If Im wrong Im sure somebody will let me know.
There was a major accident in 1978 when a PSA Flight 182 collided with a cessna and crashed in North Park. But it wasn't because of the steep landing window at Lindbergh airport. It was because aircraft relied visual separation of aircraft at that time and both aircraft were likely pitched at an anglw where they didn't see each other.
I'd hate to be in one of those house if the airplane landed short of the runway!
I've been to San Diego. Next time I'm looking for that area. Thanks for the tip!
It rains in San Diego? Not very much I bet. One of my favorite places to visit.

That would be so cool if the power lines were the glide slope because the airplanes are flying over a neighborhood!
