There are a lot of Beatles fans who don't like the movie. That's fine, to each his own and we all have our own opinions. But... to anyone and everyone who likes/loves/adores the Beatles....... You understand what the music is about. I am disappointed that the movie didn't do what it was supposed to do. I guess people are too wrapped up in celebrity than they are in humanity.

They tied things into the movie besides the songs, like Maxwell killing his grandma with a hammer, or the Rolling Stone cover of John and Yoko, or where The Beatles were discovered and so much more. They remade the songs without losing their original excellence, so kudos to ATU!

the singers from atu aren't bad at all they are all extremely talented, However to say the beatles aren't as good isn't exacty fair they did their music back in the 60s and early 70s and about half of the beatles aren't alive to defend their work. I think what they did with Across the Universe was really cool and I think they did most of the songs really well. Of course I love the originals as well.
