  • can i do this with a leg too?

  • if you have a toster like

  • does this come with instructions???

  • Typical Apple device

  • @GodziraRules typical WIN machine. Oh sorry my old pc is a dust box!

  • Is that an real baby in that box?? no.. Chuck testa

  • how is that useless?

  • Somewhere Sarah Palin is trying to figure it out.

  • Use this for halloween!

  • I like this one it almost has a beat to it.

  • LMAO!!!

  • id put my flacid penis in there.

  • it would be cool if you could make it say lemme alone when it closes the box

    lol tht would be funny

  • kinda creepy with the baby arm

  • *Le ultimate troll box*

  • Maybe you could make a machine with the rest of the babies body? Wouldn't want to be wasteful now!!!! :P

  • it sounds really cool, like a intro of a song.

lyrics: da da da DA DA DA!!

da da da DA DA DA

  • who ealse paused just too see the inside but got disapointted

  • Is a machine that does what it is designed to do, with more or less efficiency, really useless?

Seems to me that many people seem to fail in realizing that the true purpose of the Shannon-Minsky device is not in that it turns itself off, but the state of mind it induces in an unwary operator.

IIRC these machines, when turned on, is supposed to make an ominous/angry sound, before even opening, to facilitate the psychological effect; the operator should be worried about what they have done.

  • most spooky than the other LMA`s!

  • its like windows vista you turn it on it works for like 2 seconds than it shuts itself down

  • HAHAHAHAHAHAHA. I love this :D

  • Baby coffin.

  • LOL

  • Useless. Waste of space. Probably expensive to make.

    ....I want one!

  • thats fucking scary when hands comes out from nowhere

  • thing doesnt want to be disturbed

  • funny things LOL

  • love this!

  • Ah nice! A small hand ... this is sooo sweet :-D

  • First time I saw one with a doll arm.

  • they should put mounted machine guns then when you open it you screwed

  • so, did you actually have to cut off a baby's arm to use in your machine?

  • @theritmeister No, actually it fell off due to the Hansen´s dicease..

  • @theritmeister no, the baby is obviously still inside the box, duh

  • hhahahahhahaha

  • that looks so funny

  • Creepy doll hand...

    Save me mommy! D:

  • Why doesn't anyone sell these things?? One of the videos has 3 million views and no one is selling it??

  • @isaacinspace well you just have to visit my page leavemealonebox /dot/ de or go to facebook and join to get one for free!

  • @Blecheimer fuck. i can get this for free?

  • Are you only selling that one on Ebay right now? I prefer the simple prototypes you have that are just wood...

  • @isaacinspace because making one ourself is much more fun. You also don't sell reverse gecache puzzles.. the fun of making it is to big, and it makes yours unique..

  • This actually creeps me out...

  • That is a beautiful box! Nice construction.

  • thanks! my other boxes are a bit more "modern" but also nice i find :) join on facebook and win one!

  • lol

  • who was the genius that made the first? i was going to make one my mother askd me " what are you going to do with it"

i ask her back " WHAT CAN`T I DO WITH IT!?!"

  • @loco320: Claude Shannon. leavemealonebox/dot/de

  • @Blecheimer me

  • Hey, I want one xD But i live in germany, can u send it to me? xD

    I love the Machine!

  • @FragSoldier: leavemealonebox/dot/de

  • 500 years from now people will look back & ask, "Why did they build these contraptions?" The answer? Because we can!

  • @madjimms HAHA, yeah that´s right!

  • hey this looks great, and it's neat that it's purely an electrical/mechanical design w/o a microcontroller. i'm curious how you controlled the servo without a micro. did you need some sort of timing circuit for the PWM to the control input of the servo?

  • What's your blog? I want to do this without a microcontroller!

  • @sogish please come back in about 10 days to gehirnschande . d e (without spaces)

  • Could you explain how this machine has anything to do with the genius Claude Shannon?

  • Well, it switches itself off. that´s all man.

  • I read somewhere Shannon's box output a vibrating noise before the hand reaches out and turns off the switch thus giving some kind of psychological relief. Could you incorporate that into your design next time? I like to see such kind of machine (didnt see it in youtube yet)

  • @EthOrthx i think with a microcontroller you can easily attach a cellphone vibrating batterie to the circuit. In my case i don´t know how to force a delay between switching ON and the movement of the hand.. so i have no clue how to arrange this in my machine

  • @Blecheimer nevertheless your design is one of the best I have seen so far.

    Thanks for sharing.

  • @EthOrthx :D Thanks a lot! So since i gave it away as a xmas present, i´m buliding a new one right now with more detailed instructions if someone want to bulit it without microcontrollers!

  • Is it possible for you to make a more detailed guide on how you made yours. I haven't seen one that has been so simple. I would really like to learn more.

  • @JustDepends since it was a christmas gift for a good friend, i´d built a 2nd one. i ´ll try to document it and add it to my blog. come back in about 2 weeks :D

  • @Blecheimer Thanks... means a lot.

  • I want one.

  • lol

    thats tight

  • Auch sehr schön, ich hab mir aber eine mit Microprozessor gebaut :)

  • @Schiwi82 Na das kann doch jeder :D Reduce to the Max war meine Devise! :D

    1 Servo. 2 Schalter. 3 Volt. :) fertig.

  • God bless you. lol
