Don't get me wrong. I'm a huge fan. I love these guys especially live. But Steve REALLY needs to work on his vocals. In videos like this and in just about any live performance he's always slightly off key for the most part.

im not sure if id like it with the violin on this album, i mean it would make it more beautiful sounding, but i think the lyrics and sound of this album is more edgy compared to lovers.

I dunno man. A lot of the songs on this album sound the same, whereas the first album I'd only be able to confuse two songs, if that. Perhaps Kerith had brought more to the table than we think.

Yeah Juliano said he wrote them while angry and stuff. So actually, if Kerith and pretty much the rest of the band hadn't left, the album might not have that edgy feel to it.
