I don´t think Ira "left" the band as much as she was given the boot... Even a good-time beerdrinking and hellraising unit like c.s.s. still have to maintain SOME standards and as cute as she may have been ( very ) she was also amazingly crap on bass. Plus she was going out with their (now ex-) manager who, as it turned out, had robbed them blind...
