hey, so these rats have recently moved onto the top of my roof and the creeping fig on my back wall. ive been researching videos to try and see what works and what doesn't. heres my problem: ive sent up traps, but the rats just arent interested in the peanut butter i put on them, ive tried baiting them into cages with no avail, and ive tried killing them with my Crossman 760 pumpmaster, but i cant use it cuz they only come out at night, and my backyards too big to illuminate
1 - Controlusplease, I had the same problem here. These rats are very intelligent and hardly come into cages.I did not want to use poison because I have dogs in my backyard. The rats came down from the rooftops at night to eat the dog's food.
2 - I stopped to feed my dogs at night, and started to put food on a wall near my back window nine meters away. Put food every night until they get used to the place. After four nights, I put a lamp a little distant from the food and each night closer until the lighting was well above the ration. Then the rest is up to your crosmann.

hey, so these rats have recently moved onto the top of my roof and the creeping fig on my back wall. ive been researching videos to try and see what works and what doesn't. heres my problem: ive sent up traps, but the rats just arent interested in the peanut butter i put on them, ive tried baiting them into cages with no avail, and ive tried killing them with my Crossman 760 pumpmaster, but i cant use it cuz they only come out at night, and my backyards too big to illuminate
any suggestions?

1 - Controlusplease, I had the same problem here. These rats are very intelligent and hardly come into cages.I did not want to use poison because I have dogs in my backyard. The rats came down from the rooftops at night to eat the dog's food.

2 - I stopped to feed my dogs at night, and started to put food on a wall near my back window nine meters away. Put food every night until they get used to the place. After four nights, I put a lamp a little distant from the food and each night closer until the lighting was well above the ration. Then the rest is up to your crosmann.
