It's sad they quit making these titles. King's Field had enough potential to be better than The Elder Scrolls, but they ditched any plans they may have had to make a new King's Field for PS3, now I'm stuck with The Elder Scrolls but it's better than nothing and I still enjoy it. King's field had better destruction magic which made it way more fun. The game was also way more challenging because you weren't able to "turn down the difficulty (thats no fun)" like you can on Elder Scrolls games.
I got a feeling since many will search for Kings Field game after playing Dark/Demon Soul that From Software will have to rejuvenate this magnificient series once again.
at 1:29, the "old one" eats you :P just kidding, but what if the dark one was the old one from demons souls and the archstone that is broken in demons souls that takes you to the northern lands where giants roam, was really the ancient city land?
@BerryBoombastic I think you're actually right about the archstone of the giants being the ancient city. The description of the archstone was that it has been forgotten, and demon's souls is a spiritual successor to kingsfield. Thankyou for your discovery. Now I am not depressed that I will never enter that archstone.
@Account0997 It only makes sense. Not to mention in KF4 you create the Moonlight sword. So KF4 is a prequel to the other games, somehow the sword got into the valley of defilement. I like how it seems like their connected. I wonder if they meant it to be this way.
@BerryBoombastic Bito the moon light knight accompanyed maiden astrae, Garl vinland and some other person (Forgot their name) Into the valley of defilement and obviously died there. So that's how it got there, the question is where did Bito get it from.
The music makes this game immersive,i just wish From Software makes a new King's Field with a different name.The difference between this and Demon Soul, DS main levels are without music, while KF levels are all filled with music.
I LIKE THIS GAME WAY BETTER THAN OBLIVION!!! THAT'S FUNNY BUT TRUE. IN OBLIVION EVERY TIME I WENT INTO THOSE GATES THAT POP UP IN THE FORES I FELT LIKE I WASN'T EXPLORING ANYTHING NEW, AM I WRONG!? THEY ALL LOOK THE SAME, WHATEVER, I HOPE FROMSOFWARE RELEASES KING'S FIELD FIVE IN THE NEAR FUTURE, CHEERS.
@Nerephast hell yeah!!, demon's souls is one of the best games out there if not the best<. sadly I already beat it 3 times and I said sadly becouse I was so addicted to this game that every other game out there seems like I joke compare to this baby. so right now I got nothing to play. I wish I could play shadow tower (abyss) but it was released only in japan, oh well... cheers.
