  • You didin't show the second-best ending with you lose all the planes but get 50000 points so you get the top gun award.

  • @cloudcakes30 ...Hadn't heard about that. Interesting!

  • @theloyl1 Err... Never mind. It's just the ending without the plane landing on the carrier (The paper with the Top Gun Award).

  • i waited 25 years for that lameass ending because i could never beat the game myself.

  • @retlaw1976 ...Man oh man. Sorry about that. For such a difficult game it truly was a lame ass ending.

  • este juego es de family game????

  • worst ending ever, considering how hard the game was.

  • @altafari ...I heard THAT! A lot of the old nes games were like that. Almost as if the creators were so spent on the game itself that when it came to create endings the said "F!@# It!". Not considering how the players would feel.

  • I got to the 4th mission I think once. I could pretty consistently do the carrier landings. I think a huge confusion for most players was always the difference between "Speed Up & Up Up" This game was unbelievably tough tho.

Watching this I just realized mission 4 sends you to bomb a space "shuttle" pad in central Kazakhstan. Aaah the cold war lol we always knew those damned commies had their own space shuttle.

  • @TangFiend ...Yeah this was a hard game for its time. The landings as well as the re-fueling were hard to understand as a kid.

  • @theloyl1 I was 9yo at the time.

  • Thank you so much for this. 14 years later I finally see the ending. Thank you.

  • @agoat ...Wow! That seems to be the general consensus about this game. That few ever saw this ending. That was actually my feeling too during my childhood so my goal was to get er done. Thanks for that comment.

  • Dude I also have been waiting 20+ years to see the ending of this game, I even had the special joystick for the game. Never even saw the 4th mission. Thanks man.

  • @lukkyluciano ...Wow man! No problem. Glad my video brought back nostalgia and a sense of closure to the game for you (lol). For a game that only had four missions it was a hard. Good lookin out! Thanks for the comment.

  • i have been waiting to see that for 21 years. i could never f-ing beat the landing. Kudos nigga

  • @steadyspaceclown ...WOW really?!?! That long?!?! Man oh man. Well, I'm glad I was able to lay that to rest for you then. I appreciate the props. Thanks for the positive comment.

  • @theloyl1 I FINALLY SEE THE ENDING !

    YOU ARE GOD !

  • @ART1975CZ ...Hahahahaha! Thanks a lot man for that awesome comment. I don't think anyone has ever given me props that big! Sucks that the ending was so drab given how hard the game was.

  • to do a barrel roll, press Z or R twice!

  • @saintsinningsword ...This was part I for the NES. I believe you are referring to part II where the roll was introduced.

  • Finally I can see this.... I have been waiting for that screen for about 17 years.... Thank you.

  • Hahahaha. No problem. Glad I was able to do something fulfilling. Thanks for the comment.

  • BUt How do you land thE Mother ?FUcking God dAMn thing

  • Speed up, speed down, left, right, up, down, etc. Perfect landing is when altitude is at 200ft. and the speed is at 288 which I believe I was right around. Thanks for the comment.

  • My fave NES music! Anyway, well done mate, I always had such a tough time landing back in the day.

  • Thanks for the comment. Yeah, landing definitely took a lot of practice.

  • I'm sure it does. Most japanese everything have better endings.

  • The Japanese version has a better ending.

  • Thanks a lot for the props and the comment. Back then VHS was the only way it could be preserved for posterity. Good times.

  • cool! VHS and NES!! Long live Nostalgia!!

  • I can't belive how fast you sunk that carrier! It took me about 5 minutes. you less than 10 seconds! I'm jealous!

  • good job man. definitely one of the hardest games i had as a child. you made it look easy

  • Thanks a lot for the comment. It was definitely one of the harder NES games of the 80's. Took me a long while to perfect it.
