That is the honest to gods truth, "Play it pretty for Atlanta" is what sets this song apart from the other versions. I only dig this album out every 2 or 3 years,and its only for my ears,cranked all the way up,and,if someone else is in hearing distance,they are COLLATERAL DAMAGE!!!

Why is the solo at the end so quiet? It's almost completely drowned out by the other noise. The solo in this version is the best part of the song.

i was in a hospital, and im 14, the youngest person there by at least 35-40 years, and some old mans, probaly in his late 60s, phone went off. and its was the chorus of Free Bird. and the best part was, he let it ring for about a minute and nobody even looked upset at all

i love it and hate it, my speakers are screw up so when the guitar solo starts, i hardly hear guitar, which i hate, then at 7:41 all i hear is that part of the solo out of no where, its awsome. thatnks for posting
