  • I hate when I watch a cymbal demo and people hit the cymbal with no intensity behind it. I hit very hard, especially on my china, so I'd like to hear what its actually going to sound like. Thank you for being awesome.

  • Best testing video out there lol

  • dude he's going apeshit on that china which leads me to say.... boys and girls don't hit your cymbals this hard otherwise they will break

  • @houseshoesbto A china is meant to be hit in this fashion. I mean go watch any other china demo video and IT SUCKS. This video is one of the few videos that actually demonstrates how a rude might sound in an actual song. Everyone else hits their chinas like the're rides. Now if you're hitting your hats, rides and splashes like this, of course they will break.

  • @drumsistkrieg1349 im sorry i play drums and don't hit my china like i'm beating a slave or some shit and a rude will break any china will break if it is constantly slammed like that

  • @houseshoesbto Sure, I wasn't insulting you. Just saying that Chinas, especially a model made for metal drumming, should be given a nice whack during a demo video.

  • @drumsistkrieg1349 oh i totally get you i would get into smcking it too especally if i was on drum kick i would just give a couple decent whacks but not go apeshit on this cymbal but all in all we can agree its a pretty nasty good cymbal and i hope to test one out in person one of these days

  • Some how this demo wants me to choke this guy.

  • stagg china much better dude

  • @rhinozzz94

    cracked mine DX

  • Finally someone who really beats his china!

  • lol, I found myself looping this like 5 times instead of listening to music.

  • Thank you for actually hitting the cymbal!

  • @WelcomeWakinyan *playing* i would say :)

  • yea buddy!! korn in the backround

  • sexc

  • this guy should make all the china/cymbals demos, for now on!

  • could you hit that again??????

  • @gbartelt355 hahaha

  • If you play hard rock or punk or heavy metal, cymbals break, it's the genre, if you buy cymbals that aren't suitable it happens... but with paiste I know that i have had alot of problems... don't get me wrong i hit hard gigging, but i had a 16" crash pst 5 that cracked in a year, and then a 17" alpha crash that cracked. in only 9 months, it sucked, and now i've got Zildijian A customs for crashes, and they are fucking awesome, and so is the K custom Hybrid china. Also get bigger sizes so 18"+

  • @bjster1 should have bought the rude series. Pst5 is more jazz/pop. The rude series can take a beating trust me.

  • @ntfd125 yeah i think for a crash maybe, that's the only thing i break are my crashes. The K hybrid Chinas ar amazing though seriously coolest sounding china ever heard!

  • I own the exact China. Best sounding China in the world !!! No contest !

  • Thank you for cutting the bullshit and just smashing the thing. Every cymbal demo has the owner talking for two minutes about how you can also use the cymbal for jazz and shit. Then they only hit the bell of the china and don't ever crash it.

    Good job.

  • Yeah, that's right.

Beat that thing until it makes you a sandwich.

  • ha i like how you just get down to it, no explaining, where you got it, how much and all that bs. nice

  • Jazz musicians everywhere are having a heart attack - nice work man ^^

  • You're not hitting it hard enough :-)

  • HIT THE THE THING. no wonder i had to turn the volume up :)

  • you're not hitting it hard enough

  • hahahahahahahaha hit the shit out of it

  • Hit it more. It was too quiet...

  • korn poster? You're cool dude.

  • what the fuck is your problem man space out the hits so we can hear the overtones and how it sounds.

  • @passion4drums lol, seriously.

  • I don't know whether or not it fucking sounds good. The bullshit way you were smashing the thing made it sound retarded.

  • Korn!!

  • way to beat it like a gorilla on crack

  • How much money did that thing steal from you?

  • take a fuckin Valium....sheesh

  • Cannibal Corpse- Stick smashed China

  • Harder!

  • you uhhhh....havin' fun there?

  • Holy fuck this isnt a Korn song chill the fuck out!

  • T-R-A-S-H-Y?

  • Most intense video on Youtube!...

  • @Kevinkoch2443 thanks for you answer, but how much more would they cost compared to rude because i have quite a tight budget. also will they be suitable for thrash/heavy metal?

  • @mayoazzzza if your on a tight budget and need a china go with stagg DH series or go with Wuhan chinas

  • would you say this cymbal is worth the money, because if it is i will be definitely buying it. I play metal, will this be beneficial to me or are there any others for metal music.

  • @mayoazzzza The Rude series is for punk and metal style music!

  • @Kevinkoch2443 what i mean is the cymbal worth the money or could i get something better for cheaper or the same price to play heavy metal with. Thannks Anyway though :D

  • @mayoazzzza I don´t like the rude cymbals! Try out the twenty series by paiste their awesome you will love them!!!

  • LMAO. XD

  • can i listen to it before you hit it again. dumbass.

  • bostondrum should take video making lessons from you.

  • You made that china your bitch.

  • even joey jordison thinks your a crazy mofo lol

  • You don't need to beat it like your damn child, nig.

  • i'm pretty sure it's a crude cymbal... not a RUDE cymbal...... just sayin'

  • @seasawey535 No it's rude

  • @seasawey535 Um it is RUDE... that's embarrasing you just said that

  • @seasawey535 EPIC FAIL

  • It's not a fuckin ride man.... Hit it and let it ring for fuck sakes...

  • Good call on the RUDE China, have one myself, accompanies a good double bass line with gusto.

  • I dont like chinas, most sound like trash cans to me.

  • @Kierank30 pretty sure the idea of china is to have a trashy sound lawlz

  • Stop Domestic Violence.

Take it out on a cymbal :]

  • I actually appreciate a continuous test like this. I'm not looking for an 18" china to accent, I want to really ride on it. Hearing one isolated, soft hit doesn't really help me determine it's ride-able or not.

  • Comment removed

  • that boy needs therapy !!!

  • ahhh WTF !!!

  • sounds like a crash not a china. Oy!

  • thats awsome!!!!!

  • What did that poor china ever do to you??? It can't have been THAT rude!!!! Lol :)

  • jesus christ man!! easy on that poor thing hahaha your jus beatin the crap out of it endlessly, lol just strike it once and let it fade so we can really hear it. nice china nonetheless.

  • f*ckin awesome china! :D

and finally someone who knows how to hit it! xD

  • thats what china must sound like

  • zildjian are for girls, paiste are for mature man and sabian are for truth metal : D

  • @imabitch4u no paiste and sabian are just more expensive and have less variety than zildjian.

  • @imabitch4u Nope, Meinl are for metal! Sabians chinas aren't metal enough, too clean and crash-like...

  • Dang, he's playing slipknot.

  • @zerosoma33 not even joey hits it that much, this guy needs to calm down.

  • Super cymbale et qu'on peut se payer :P

  • sweet poster dude

  • sweet poster dude

  • which one is better, 2002 Wild China, or RUDE China?

  • Dude... let the cymbal fade out. It's a great cymbal, but hit.... pause. hit.... pause.

  • dude take it easy hitting that thing.. XD

  • There you go! Bang that thing till' it brakes!

  • this video is realy about 52 seconds longer than it needs to be, unless you can make a video with actual stick technique or something. just smashing it like an oaf doesn't really help get an idea for the nuances of a cymbal

  • that sounds sweet

  • I have this and its amazing! It sound tigh, kinda trashy and loud. Buy this!

  • I gonna buy me one!

  • Yeah if you want a decent sounding cymbal that will last you a good while.

Go with Rude. I bought my rude wild crash 17" not knowing it was going to be 1 inch thick.

    LOL. great cymbal.

  • It has the "trash-can" sound, yet, it lacks the great "gong" tone of sufficient-sized Wuhans. Face it: Chinas are part of China's cymbal tradition--not the Big3s' Turkish or German cymbal traditions. As for heavy-hitters cracking chinas-- recently Tony, the guy from cymbalsandsnares, an ebay seller who sells many Wuhans and Silkens, indicates that continually heavy-hitting the outer edges of chinas will inevitably cause them to crack--so, honing stick technique to limit that is optimal.

  • my sabians havent cracked yet

  • If you had a decent sticking technique, your cymbals wouldnt be as liable to crack or break.

  • what is the china on the song indestructible?that 1 rocks(disturbed)

  • @Jeremy12three well i think its sabian, cause thats what mike endorses so... but i dont know the model sorry

  • This is the ONE china i like, with Wuhans :)

  • cymbals arent supposed to crack, guys. If you're crackin' or breakin' cymbals your playing technique is poor and must be re-evaluated.

  • @paisteuser06 thats the dumbest thing iv ever heard lololol

  • @SOADA7XKORNKAMELOT .... all cymbals break yes.... but you can make them last longer by not bashing them.

  • @paisteuser06 they break regardless

  • @paisteuser06 unless your you a really thin cymbal and hitting really really hard :P

  • @paisteuser06 well it all depends on your strength and in reference to that the weight of the cymbal. I started out on cheap sabian b8's, when i was 7 when i was 10 they all broke, then i used sabian aa's they cracked when i was 15/16, now im using heavier cymbals, meduim-heavy not fussed about the brand, and their just the right weight in orrelation to how hard i hit, and cymbals to break, sometimes people get a bit carried away when they're on stage and have got a bit of gig fever :D

  • @willlovestodrum132 I agree cymbals can break even with proper playing, but it seems like you're hitting a little too hard. =p

Also, try thin crashes. I find that they give more and so don't break as often.

  • @paisteuser06 thats not always true

  • @paisteuser06 With the exception of Wuhan chinas..

  • paiste does not!!!!

  • @guardianigor ill have you know i destroyed a set of paiste hi hats and a paiste crash in just over a year.

  • if u are retard sry but u play 20 years and i ve broke 1 cymbal. so far. that was 20 inch avedis china low brilliant great soud but it WAS great..long live drummers

  • THATS AMAZING CHINA!!!!

  • YEEEEEEEEAAH!! bang on that thang!!!

  • iv just broken my z custom china!! broke a a custom last month, both were new. grr they lasted weeks!!! everyone seems to be saying rudes are the tuffest chinas, is that true they look tuff. i just want one that lasts ha ha, i feel ya scarecrow

  • wat a shame! but y dont u just cut out the cracks? its alot cheper

  • KORN!!!!

  • are these rude cymbalsmeant for bating the sh*t out of? Im a really hard hitter and am trying to decide whether to go with rude cymbals, meinl mb20s, or sabian aax or other. can anyone help me? i dont care about the sound of the cmbal so much as how long it lasts

  • cymbals are all preference but id say go with the paiste rude series theyll last you a while

  • If your worried about braking it, just go for the cheapest that way if you do brake it a replacement wont rob you of that much.

  • haha thats some weird logic.

  • sabian cymbals rarely crack

  • thanks. but i dont mind the cracking so much anymore. i discovered a little thing called warranty

  • lol ya

  • chill the fuck out dude jeezzz your beating it like its gonna break up with you

  • @ddrummer9111 hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!!!

  • how much?

  • something tells me he cracked the cymbal after a 54 second beating.

  • Nah, these are extra heavy cymbals. They can take a real beating.

  • paiste oohhh shit paiste the fucking best cymbals of this fucking world

  • maybe hehehehe but not in chinas, wuhan rulez in chinas

  • fuck yeah

  • in price maybe....

  • heck yeah wuhan chinas are the best. even though im a zildjian and sabian fan i can admit not even zildjian ,sabian , aa mienl or paiste can make a china as good as them

  • hey dude! is that the novo china or the normal? soundz good :))))

  • normal

  • novos look like crashes bent downward

  • awesome!!!! but f'ckin expensive for me! i cant buy f'ckin staggs... not these monsters :(

  • you guys are idiots. any one cymbal line can tolerate many styles of playing if the drummer has good technique and takes care of their equipment.

  • awesome sound!

  • Hoestly i think zildjians are like sweet 4 like crashes,rides,hi-hats. But paiste are kick-ass for china cymbols!!!!! :)

  • I love Paiste, Zildjian is for light hitters I love Paiste Rude Cymbals because they are durable and sound amazing. Great for hardcore music if you ask me. WHich I play. :)

  • zildjian are for girls lol

  • since they moved away from Turkey the cymbals sound like hamburgers

  • @jackdalildrummer I'd totally love to agree with you, but Zildjian As are quite awesome if you take a listen, then again Paiste Signatures are waaayyy better.

  • Ohhh souns lovley. how much is it

  • £150 cheapest ive seen but thats online so adding P&P

  • Mmmmmm this is a great cymbal. Like all Paistes are.

Oh, Orasilth, THANK YOU!!! Finally a cymbal demonstration that has really demonstrated how a cymbal sounds. I'm fed up with morons that demonstrate a crash cymbal by hitting it with a tip over the body and stuff like that.

    A great cymbal

  • COPY AND PAISTE IF YOU THINK PAISTE IS THE BEST CYMBALS AVAILVABLE!!!!!! \m/ ^_ ^ \m/

  • Amazing cymbal.

  • sound's amazing... but korn sucks

  • I personally think it sounds like a really good cymbal and I would buy it (if I could afford it!)

  • me 2

  • you can afford it i did just save up... its worth it trust me

  • Please do, I wanna hear this, I know it's a good cymbal.

  • Sounds brilliant =D

Paiste cymbals have to be the best on the market.

  • THIS CYMBAL ROCKS

  • Here's the tab for this video:

    CH: x------xxxxxxx|xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Seriously, just hit it once and let it ring out before you ride it. My ears hurt.

  • @Jamobra hilarious :D thx

  • I hate it when all RUDE cymbals are so expensive! I love the cymbals, but I can't afford them! :(

  • sounds fucking nice! I thought it would be less responsive just because its a rude and rudes tend to be heavier. But it sounds so gloriously trashy!

  • I WANT ONE PAISTE FTW!

  • How could you afford this?

  • awsome china.

    and some advice.

    buy a less wobly stand,

or it might just be camra.

  • sounds so light compared to others... i must have one lol

  • the best china that i've seen

  • yeh!

  • thats a nice trashy china there. wonder what the 20" sounds like heard it on the paiste website and it was really pingy.

  • definitly got to get a drum rack to tame that MF like David Silveria did.Gosh I love those Rude cymbals

  • C'est vraiment une magnifique cymbale, avec ce look d'enfer, et surtout ce son à la fois puissant et trashy... que du bon! ;-)
