The music all-around appropriate; Born in the USA represents Ben, American Woman represents Tanith getting her citizenship...and to me America Beautiful was to signify the unity of the two coming together and skating for the USA. No one thought it would happen at the end of 2005, and it was awesome that it happened for them.

ben looks wierd like tat....tanith looks sooo pretty!!!!! but 2gether, they make a perfect team. its just said they were nv world champs.if they win next year, they will make history wich naomi and peter didnt make in 2004 bcaz of tanith and ben.

The first 2 songs "born in the usa" & "american woman" were good choices but "america the beautiful didnt blend in as well. Over all it was ok.

This was incedibly smart I think...he was "born in the USA" and she had just become an "American woman"...I thought it worked well

It's a little ironic that Tanith was not "Born in the USA", "American Woman" is technically a Canadian song, and it was rather "OTT" as previously stated but...gotta love 'em.

Well, the whole point of it being all american is to celebrate tanith's american citizenship, which she just recieved.
True it is kind of ironic, but... oh well

Well I think "Born in the USA" refers to him ... notice how the song changes when she starts to skate? and it's appropriate that Tanith skate to a Canadian song. =P

I agree... I liked the medley and they are always wonderful skaters. The costumes were kind of cheesy, but I can deal with it. But I do not think they handled the flag with much respect. :(

As the British would say this is very OTT (Over The Top). An American flag is supposed to be handled so that it never touches the ground (ice).
