In the case of a child rapist, the death penalty is very appropropriate. Maybe the best way to execute that penalty would be to put them in with the general population at any prison...

I did a research on death penalty and it doesn't solve the problem. What we should do with child molesters is keep them in prison, isolated from society for a very long time so they'd have time to think of what they did wrong. These people also need psychological help so a psychiatric center would also be good. What we want to do is not kill the individual but to get to the root of the situation. Killing just resolves into more violence.

It is terrible and disgusting, yes. But nothing warrants the taking of a life as a punishment.

Killing these people, and for them I use this term loosely, doesn;t solve the problem of why they exist and why they committed these crimes in the first place. What went wrong with them, what changed in their mind (or brain chemistry) that allowed them the ability to act upon such an evil impulse? Fins these answers and you will solve the problem.

Looking at both the genetic and environmental contributions to individual variations in human behavior, i do agree that maybe something traumatic has happened to these people in the past but at the same time I strongly believe that patterns can be broken!

I came up in a pretty indulgent environment, meaning my parents never felt as masters but as guidances yet when i self reflect I do not find many similarities to my parents. Call it growth and self development.
