Cant believe some of the negative comments about Seattle , it is an absolute buzzing city so much happening and to see and do, on my second visit I discovered the underground bus service, quite unique, the weather when I was last there was a heatwave with blue skies and anyway whats a little rain every now and then to maintain all that greenery.
How do people in big cities like Seattle handle all the traffic? I'm from a very small town, but I don't think I could stand having so many cars drive around me like that. However, I've been to bigger areas before, and it's fun to have so many more things to do.

My wife & I visited Seattle back in May. I just want to say, I love it! Pike Place, the Space Needle, Elliott Bay... I can truly say that I also enjoyed the way people drove in that city. It must be the copious amounts of coffee, the weather, or the scenery. Seriously. Not like back here in Texas, where everyone speeds & doesn't care.

Seattle is awesome! this is coming from a native Southern Californian, but it is amazing. the summers in Seattle are mild, sunny and the sun sets pretty late in the evening. you can live in a modern town, and yet dispose of the 21st century by driving a few minutes out of town. i don't know if it's always overcast, but after all this Pacific northwest city is infamous for the weather, rain rain all the time, so i hear. i don't mind it, it's quite nice, but so is the California sun!

I spent more than 25 years working for the government and lived or worked temporairly in Louisille KY, Dallas, Baltimore, Anchorage, Atlanta, Philadelphia and a few others..All of those places had some nice things...But Seattle has it all, moderate temps, lots of mountains, lots of water, beautiful scenery..and by far..the cleanest and most modern of any of them...ofcourse...we have major traffic problems...and expensive houses..but still, the quality of life here is great...

I don't feel negatively, just the friend up here asked which one is better and LA is better IMO. But I didn't say that Seattle is a horrible place to live, just comparing to LA I think it's worse because of the weather.

Seattle is awesome! this is coming from a native Southern Californian, but it is amazing. the summers in Seattle are mild, sunny and the sun sets pretty late in the evening. you can live in a modern town, and yet dispose of the 21st century by driving a few minutes out of town. i don't know if it's always overcast, but after all this Pacific northwest city is infamous for the weather, rain rain all the time, so i hear. i don't mind it, it's quite nice, but so is the California sun!

I spent more than 25 years working for the government and lived or worked temporairly in Louisille KY, Dallas, Baltimore, Anchorage, Atlanta, Philadelphia and a few others..All of those places had some nice things...But Seattle has it all, moderate temps, lots of mountains, lots of water, beautiful scenery..and by far..the cleanest and most modern of any of them...ofcourse...we have major traffic problems...and expensive houses..but still, the quality of life here is great...
