buy it from germany, wait a year so you can get one at 10,000km, register it with a friend in Germany and drive it in Turkey so you don't pay any import taxes!

haha, yeah you can drive a very nice car in the US for that salary. Cars are very cheap in the US compared to Europe. You can try to import some US cars into Turkey... I don't know what the import taxes are but it's worth looking in to. I would start with a normal car like a 2003 Audi A4, you can get it for 13,000 USD and sell it in turkey for 15,000 EUR. :)

We live in sweden and we bought the Q5 without having seen it IRL;) looks better then any other mini-suv now:) and the price is good:) we ordered the 2,0 tdi with panorama roof, alcantara seats, phone inside, 18 or 19 inch wheels LED lights, better stereo and much more and it only cost us 416K Swedish kronor thats about 52000 dollars i think? that is really a good priced car here:) my neighbor has a dark Q7 and it simply is too fucking big:P the Q5 has the right size for the design!

Precisely, they are second to none with regards to interior design and their exterior design is the cleanest of all premium luxury brand manufacturers. Just take a look at the new BMW 3 series. Each car looks like a hodge podge of parts put together to look like a car. Whereas Audi's look like it was molded from the same piece of metal. I agree with you spddev, rethoro does not have any taste.

Further to my last comment, I'd be in complete disbelief if current BMW X3 owners after seeing the X5 do not decide to drop BMW and buy an Audi instead. The Q5 is head over heels better looking than that ugly X3. People only bought the X3 because they wanted a premium brand SUV but thought anything else that other premium brand manufacturers like Mercedes or Lexus had to offer was just too ugly. But, the X3 out of all the existing premium mini SUVs is still ugly. Go Audi Go...Great Service!

I used to drive a BMW X5 until I decided to change cars because overall BMW service sucked (my experience from 5 dealerships I've had the misfortune of dealing with for service). The change I made was to purchase an Audi A4 instead because I was so frustrated with BMW and at the time Audi did not have a comparable SUV. Now that Audi has launched the Q5, I couldn't be more happier. I thought about purchasing the Q7 next but it was way to big for what I need so I am happy to wait for the Q5.

the BMW X6 is at least $25,000 more expensive than the Q5. The X6 is going to start around $65k. The Q5 looks good but no TDI engine or 7-speed DSG for the USA! Audi- bring the 3.0L TDI!
