If anyone still thinks this is not real, I can assure you that it is. I have seen acres of Nanosolar panels installed and operating in Lukenwalde where the last part of this video was shot. I toured the installation, touched the inverters, felt the hum of electrical power flowing from the array. I have seen the robots in that factory spitting out panel after panel. It is awesome. No hype, just fact.
Who am I? Someone who can tell a fraud when he sees one.
Now... if you want to claim that this is anything but, you better find ONE person in the whole wide world who has actually seen a nano solar panel. Because, as far as I can tell, NOBODY has ever seen ANY solar panels that can be unambiguously identified as working, tested and qualified products of this company.
But then... Barnum was right and suckers are born by the minute.
I heard these panels were (in a sense discovered) but created at the Oregon institute of technology (OIT), if you wish to do research your self, it's an entire schools credibility on the line here.
To be honest, who are you to ask (on youtube of all places) for a sworn deposition on the legitimacy of these solar panels, No one cares whether you believe it or not, and none is going to take the time to do all that for someone with no credibility and who won't go see for them selves.
fuzzy... How do you know that the panel you have seen in San Jose is an actual panel produced with a working nanosolar process? Did anybody test the technical parameters of the thing on exhibit? Did anybody confirm that it was actually made by them?
Like I said... if you can get me a witness who will give a deposition in front of an attorney that they have ordered and received products from the company and they can confirm that the products work as advertised, THEN you got something.
The simple fact is that nobody has ever seen a single panel from nanosolar. However, it would be interesting to have an actual witness give a sworn deposition that they have seen these panels and that they have done all the necessary engineering tests on them to verity the company's claim.
I can confidently say that I, along with many others, are eagerly awaiting commercial panels available to individual homeowners. This is something that I would gladly invest in.
@AnimeFanatic5602 GE are beating them to it. It will not be possible for this company to really continue, people who follow this know that they are a joke (unless they put a full system on my roof for 10K they are toast).
In a engineer project manager of big photovoltaic power plant in Italy. I'm verty interesting to nanosolar product. please contact me at iena270708@gmail.com .Thank you
@Bertziethegreat Have u seen terminator, or I robot? they are gonna get us all! Just kidding. I am just twisted how people advertise all this great stuff, as if it will actually be available and affordable to us, but they never come through, because they are to busy "COMIN UP" and "GETTIN PAID" its bullshit talk, with no fuckin walk, which pisses me off thats all.
@d3adp001 Well if they can't get investorys, they can't expand production, which means they wont be able to produce more product, in which to sell to more people. As with any new product, their profit margins are probably razor thin while they pay back their debts, if they're making any profit at all.
And Terminator and I, Robot are just propaganda against our future robot overlords. Did I say overlords? I meant protectors.
@Bertziethegreat HAH, see there I knew u were an agent of the evil robot empire from the future.
They dont want inventory, they need sales, and the public is hungry for effective solar, debt repayment happens with volume just as much as large price tags. The simple version is this, just wait and watch, see how long IF ever, these guys bring affordable solar out, I bet ya a dollar they never bring it out below the price per watt set by other technologies. Timeline 2 yrs? you in? :)
Well, if it's real, it will come to a rooftop near you. And it is is not, and I suspect that it still isn't, then it won't.

Sadly, such a witness does not exist.

@exceligent "The simple fact is that nobody has ever seen a single panel from nanosolar. "
You're so full of crap.
You can see one of the panels at the Tech Museum in San Jose. I've seen it. I live in Sunnyvale. Nanosolar has also shipped product.
I hate people that spout out total nonsense as fact. Can't believe how lazy and ignorant people can be when the Internet is right in front of them.
