  • Does the partitioned hard drive need to be formatted?

  • What if an error pops up and wont let you expand?

  • if grayed out open cmd prompt

    type "diskpart" hit enter

    type "list disk" hit enter

    type "select disk #" (# is the number of the disk you want remove the partition from)

    type "clean" hit enter

    BAM its done

  • OMGGGG, this was a BIG help. I just bought a new computer and it made me partition it before I could continue setting up the computer. I hated that. Well thanks to you I now know how to partition and unpartition!!!!!

    Had a Little Trouble because i went to programs and sotrage or w/e first and unstalled Ubuntu first so the extra partition was something Healthy blah blah

    but i figured it was it and worked Thanks ill Sub

    I didn't realise that if you clicked on "delete partition", that it would just change to unallocated space, stupid me thought that it would be gone for ever. You are a life saver!!
