Hey Ryan, I've heard through from several places that he was actually independent. But I have to say this, I think it's a shame that Democrats (specifically those in the liberal wing) are using this tragedy to attack the Tea Party. I am a registered Democrat, but seeing my party being brought down by liberals is killing me. I'm one of the few conservative Democrats I know, and I wish there were more of us in this party.
