They are currently my favorite band. The significance of this is, I'm a jazz player, and fan. I am surprised with the innovation and creativity that Cake has created; the use of the trumpet. Not this one reason solely, of course, but I really enjoy the lax attitude of most of their songs. They just don't really seem to have that arrogance that most rock has. Bravo, Cake!
