  • Sounds great! The Swedish pipe club always sends a team to these events so I get to read about it later in the club magazine. Has anyone here tried slow-smoking a pipe just for fun? Just two matches allowed.

  • I tried this when I first started smoking pipes. Needless to say, I was cheating with a 3rd (4th, 5th, 6th...) match before the bowl was half gone.

I bet I'd do better at it now, especially if it was a blend with which I was familiar.

  • Yeah, It must be nerve wrecking to do it with a new pipe, new tobacco and the peer pressure from your team mates!

  • Sounds like fun, sure would be nice excuse to visit Portugal.

    Cheers

  • I want to go!!!!

  • Please do.

  • I think it would be worth a visit. According to Google it is a 7 hour drive for me!

  • Yes, Alan, come. Great food & wines, and magnificent places to visit, like Sintra (google it out)

  • I hope you will be entering mate ;-)

  • I don´t think so, Tim. I'll go there but will spend my time doing other things (also, I think I could be the first one to let the pipe out, which would be an embarresment)
