The government faced much bigger problems than we do right now, and they were still able to rebuild their country and create one of the best public health care systems in the world.

I think you're confusing something here: it was George W. Bush who could barely form a coherent sentence without a teleprompter. If you watch Obama's press conferences, his town hall meetings, even his talk show interviews, you will see just how well he does without teleprompters.
Also, you might want to research the meaning of "Socialism" and "Communism" before making the ridiculous claim that Obama is leading America in that direction.

What a fantastic idea, promote the act of volunteerism. I'm also glad that he uses the teleprompter, he doesn't have time for 20 takes, you have to get this right in the shortest amount of time possible, because there is important work to be done in Washington, not play with a video camera all day.

If you actually read these comments, from actually ordinary people, you need to STOP CAMPAIGNING! You're not soothing the concerns of Americans, but rather pushing your ideas personally. That said, I really I honestly disagree with some of your 4 policies. I do agree that we need to do something about our dependence on oil, but I must implore you that education and healthcare will not fix the economy. I also fail to see how this kind of spending will reduce the deficit.

Let me give you a history lesson.
After the second world was, Britain was in ruins. Hundreds of thousands were now unemployed due to the end of the war and the fact that so many small business had been destroyed. The government faced much bigger problems than we do right now, and they were still able to rebuild their country and create one of the best public health care systems in the world.
If they did it, we can.

The goals set out are very realistic and can be achieved. We have had this occur in Australia under the Liberal government in Australia, where tough choices were made to bring Australia out debt and to start building a new infrastructure for Australia's health and education. Unfortunately power has changed hands, and we Australia will be going into debt Again a mess that previous government had to clean up.
