I really wish that Kayla had taken more of a stand with Steve when he told her that she needed to go back to Jack after the poisoning. She should've stood her ground more and made it clear that she was NOT going to go back to Jack because that just led to disaster for everyone involved.

I don't know whether to say that Jack was completely naive when it came to Kayla or that he was just plain stupid. His denseness in the early years of the character being on the show drove me nuts. I never could understand why this man kept on with his pursuit of Kayla even when she made it clear time after time that they were just friends. Their marriage was build on a lie and therefore it was doomed to failure from the very start. I really felt for Kayla and Steve in this situation.

@PerfectParticiple You're right and I think that's what was going on with Jack in this situation. Jack had put Kayla up on some kind of pedastal and thought she was this perfect woman that really only existed in his mind and when he found out that she and Steve had been having an affair Jack's images of Kayla as being perfect were shattered.

Don't want to seem greedy but do you have the scene were she yells at Jack.This was my favorite story. Thanks for the memories.

@llskbh I don't remember Kayla yelling at Jack. Was that the reason that Melissa yelled at Kayla for not being a good wife to Jack? I don't think I've seen that scene either.
