  • how can I get this software? I purchased the mustang pro primarily as a MIDI and second as a game controller and using it with garagband is not what I expected.

  • Is there anyway to get the wireless signal into the computer? Is it a USB midi reciever?

  • Is this compatible with Windows 7 64-bit?

  • this might get into some nonsense but

are the strings buttons or are the frets buttons. can you play this on rock band quickplay like on rock band 2 guitar and stuff. do the buttons stick when you press them down. can you plug it into a real amp.

  • Can you add Drop C tuning? I'm recording this band right now that plays in Drop C and I'd like to use the controller with them to try out some new stuff for metal

  • @trashcoremedia

To create your own custom tuning use the advanced tab, click on the guitar image for the string and open fret you want to change. In the Midi Chord area - select the note you want to be the open fret and place in the first string position for the chord (guitar mode always uses first note of chord program) click apply. Finally in the bottom "String" Section, select the string and click 1->24 st 1. This should flow the notes down the fretboard. You can also set each

  • @WirelessMidiGuitar Thanks! This program is great. When I first got this I was worried I'd be restricted to standard tuning but you're a life saver!

  • @trashcoremedia look into (you rock guitar midi controller) this will like you set up tune any why you like and much more

  • The price is almost irresistible! Only thing I am not too excited about is it can only be powered with batteries ):

  • have you compared the midi of this guitar with others like the rockband strat and yourock guitar?

  • @matimaui

Have not yet tried the Strat or the You Rock guitar. I do however have, and use a Ztar, which provides better velocity sensitivity and more realistic string sensation. But for the money - hard to beat the fender....

  • what did you use???

  • @brb224

Programming language was RealStudio (a version of visual basic)

  • The app is currently available for free on request. Just send a private message with a valid email address and I'll arrange to share the latest version. The software is however currently only for Mac. There is the potential to port to PC but its not something I am likely to tackle near term.

  • Cam you please tell us were to get PROTAR? Is it ONLY mac? If so, is there plans for PC?

  • This is exactly what I need where can I get it?

I wanted to do some stuff in Open C

  • Any tuning for a 6 string bass? low B, EADG, high C

    Ztar-Mac, bring it on!

  • @Time2Flybiz

6 string bass, 4 string bass and a Ukelele tuning are all included in addition to drop D and a number of alternative guitar tunings. Additional tunings are really easy to add, so if there are any other ones that would be useful, just let me know.

  • Does this fix a lot of the issues with ghost notes and glitching? Looks great though!

  • Nice application =D Now if only you could whip something like that up for the ztar that would run in windows.
