If Pryor makes something of himself I will back him 100%!! I have unfortunately seen MANY players get talked up and then dwindle on the college level (and it only get's harder in the pros). I still look for Travis Thomas out of Wash High (ND now), and Stevie Breaston out of Woody High (MI, now pro), Anthony Morelli (PSU). Let's not forget TYLER PALKO from West A, (PITT) N/O saints.

Pryor has openly admitted that he LOVES Michigan's academics, above all other schools. Not to mention he also said he likes Michigan's offenseive scheme the best out of all the schools he's visited. I think he's just weighing the pro's and con's of national attention he'll get at each school. And the best location for media attention is in the north NOT the south.
Nobody outside of the state of Michigan really believes that Michigan will win more than 7 games for 2008. I'm thinking maybe 7-6. They will be bad but they will be helped by a weak schedule.
Oregon would be a middle of the pac Big Ten team. Though Oregon draws much less of a fanbase and national attention to the Big Ten's middle pack teams.
I just don't see this kid choosing to live in BF Ohio and playing his grandad's game of football. Go ask Michigan players who the best team on their schedule was last year. Oregon is the best fit.
2. Jim Tressel is one of the best in the business, and his teams almost never underachieve. 3 title games in 6 years speaks for itself. In the title games, his teams were outmatched in speed and athleticism.
3. Tressel's system is firmly in place, and Terrell will have a better chance to win a title than at Michigan, because it may take Rodriguez a couple of years to get his system in place.
I disagree about the athleticism thing. The teams Ohio State fieled will be sending a good dozen to the NFL in the next year or 2.
Gholston, Wells, Ginn, Gonzo, Animal Jr, Jenkings, T. Smith, Boone, Barton, Datish, Pitcock, Small and more. Heacock and a bad defensive scheme cost us more than anything. Not talent or speed. Hell we'll have more guys in the NFL than LSU or Florida will.
There is no chance of him starting under Tressel as a Freshman when a Senior is returning who threw 25 TD passes and led the conference in passing efficiency. That's just simply not going to happen.

You realize that he is only going to be a freshman right? Are you forgetting that we have fifth year senior Todd Boeckmann taking the majority of the snaps. Pryor will more than likely only see 5-10 snaps in that game at the most if any at all.

Everyone keeps saying "if we get pryor thats 4national championship rings" He really isn't a natural QB his hype came from his height and speed. Plus SEC are most likely to make it and OSU can't hang with the SEC. USC and Florida always have better recuiting classes then OSU anyways including this yr for UF. Hey, Since Spread QBs haven't had great success in the pros; TP can fall back on his great education from OSU.......opps....haha. That's right OSU is laughable in the working world. OSU is just a football team, nothing more, nothing less.
If TP is smart he will put OSU on the bottom of his list, because you need a Plan B in life if you get hurt or you don't make it in the pros. OSU is the worst Plan B.

If Pryor makes something of himself I will back him 100%!! I have unfortunately seen MANY players get talked up and then dwindle on the college level (and it only get's harder in the pros). I still look for Travis Thomas out of Wash High (ND now), and Stevie Breaston out of Woody High (MI, now pro), Anthony Morelli (PSU). Let's not forget TYLER PALKO from West A, (PITT) N/O saints.

Either way, we can all say: The WPIAL is a star producing powerhouse year in and year out!!! I am proud of where i come from and carried that to Florida!! I know TX is big with football but WPIAL football is alot bigger than the atmosphere down here (though Florida does produce high volume stars itself, HS football is not so big down here.

I am around alot of "stars" all the time you can tell who is gonna do the same thing in college and who is not.. especially in the D1 sector.

I don't know about Texas... That's a whole different ball game there.. literally!! The WPIAL is among the best though!!! SW PA has many stars and is always a hotbed for talent! Also S. Florida which is basically why little private Um is so good all teh time they get the locals and they are already stars.

My uncle lives in miami, he's said the same thing about their ball. The thing about texas is that its offensively geared, i've talked to a kid on my hockey team about it who just moved here from frisco, tx. He said that the main difference he's seen in PA is how many players play both sides of the ball, provides for more opportunities and makes the game wholey personal. In texas it was strictly o or d.

Pryor has openly admitted that he LOVES Michigan's academics, above all other schools. Not to mention he also said he likes Michigan's offenseive scheme the best out of all the schools he's visited. I think he's just weighing the pro's and con's of national attention he'll get at each school. And the best location for media attention is in the north NOT the south.

I think he will be a Buckeye for a few reasons:
1. He can start as a true freshman.
2. Jim Tressel is one of the best in the business, and his teams almost never underachieve. 3 title games in 6 years speaks for itself. In the title games, his teams were outmatched in speed and athleticism.
3. Tressel's system is firmly in place, and Terrell will have a better chance to win a title than at Michigan, because it may take Rodriguez a couple of years to get his system in place.

I disagree about the athleticism thing. The teams Ohio State fieled will be sending a good dozen to the NFL in the next year or 2.
Gholston, Wells, Ginn, Gonzo, Animal Jr, Jenkings, T. Smith, Boone, Barton, Datish, Pitcock, Small and more. Heacock and a bad defensive scheme cost us more than anything. Not talent or speed. Hell we'll have more guys in the NFL than LSU or Florida will.

There is no chance of him starting under Tressel as a Freshman when a Senior is returning who threw 25 TD passes and led the conference in passing efficiency. That's just simply not going to happen.

the only way he could start as a freshman is by going to michigan. that job is beckmans untill proven otherwise. GO BLUE! the one thing that I know for sure is that we will roll out a future nfl QB this season. if that is pryor, great. if not we will move on and we will win.we are excited about rich rod. if there was ever any question to what the greatest rivalry in college football here is the proof. we are still 10 months from playing and look at the debate.

I heard Paterno attempted to drive down to visit with Pryor but ended up somewhere in New Jersey. Considering he wears no headset and always has to poop during games, he doesn't know much about what's going on there on the football field either.
